We invite filmmakers from around the world to submit their feature films and feature-length documentaries for a chance to be screened at our prestigious event and compete for exciting cash prizes.

Rules & Terms for 4th Cinematech International Film Festival

1. Submission:
• Films can be submitted through Festhome or the festival website using the provided Google Form.
• All genres and formats are accepted, including feature films, documentaries, short films, student films, music videos, web series episodes, and animation.
• Multiple submissions from the same filmmaker are allowed, but each film requires a separate entry.

2. Eligibility:
• Films must be completed after [date, e.g., January 1, 2023.
• Feature films and documentaries must exceed 60 minutes. Short films must be up to 60 minutes. Music videos and web series episodes must have specific durations as outlined in the awards section.
• Films must be submitted in their original language with English subtitles if applicable.
• Previously unreleased films in India are preferred (check specific requirements for international entries).
• Films screened at other major international festivals may be considered with prior approval.

3. Selection:
• A selection committee comprised of industry professionals will review all entries.
• Shortlisted films will be notified via email.
• The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.

4. Fees:
a. Entry fee - $30 Feature length film / documentaries (Duration 60mins onwards) of charge. $15 short film / documentaries etc. (Duration - 01 min to 59 mins). Submitters are responsible for any shipping fees.
b. The festival will not provide any courier charges.

5. Rights and Permissions:
• By submitting your film, you grant Cinematech International Film Festival the right to upload it to the festival website and use excerpts for promotional purposes.
• You ensure you hold all necessary copyrights and distribution rights for your film.
• You can request the removal of your film at any time.

6. Festival Committee:
• The decisions of the festival committee and jury are final.
• The festival reserves the right to not award any prizes or change festival regulations.

NOTIFICATIONS
After a film has been selected for film competition, the filmmaker is notified via email only. All films which are selected/nominated for the competition or Festival will be informed only by emails & listed on the website/social handles. No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non-selected films. The decision of the selection committee will be final.

OTHER FILM COMPETITION
Besides the core festival, Cinematech International Film Festival runs several online film competitions for official selection films of the Cinematech International Film Festival. Each Competition is pre-announced. Film Festival Management has all the rights to qualify or disqualify any of the films from the competition section. We'll present Certificates to the winners of the Competitions.

COPYRIGHTS
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (full film, trailer) can be uploaded/embed on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows Cinematech International Film Festival to create a page for their film without infringing the copyright of any kind of form. Filmmakers can make a request to remove the film link at any time.

FILM FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
The decision of the Film Festival Committee is final and no correspondence will be entertained. The decision of jury members/mentors will be final and accepted by all; no inquiries or arguments will be entertained. The organizer's reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes. The Film Festival Director reserves the right to make all decisions about the festival.

DISCLAIMER
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the Rules & Regulations for participation in the Cinematech International Film Festival. The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in the Cinematech International Film Festival and make available the print for screening. Under NO circumstance, the authorities of Cinematech International Film Festival will not entertain or be answerable to anyone else apart from the applicant.
