Begiradak is an AMATEUR film festival. We understand amateur cinema to be the work of authors who work in a non-professional context, in a space of research, search, without financial compensation, for the love of cinema but also understanding it as a tool for dissemination, education or protest.
This non-professional context can occur in a school, community, collective, claim or portrait of a social reality.
Professional groups from the audiovisual sector, film schools, universities, etc. will not be able to participate.
All groups, associations, ikastolas, schools, HEIs and individual authors from the national and international territory may participate.
The works may be presented in any language, but must be subtitled in Spanish or english.
The works will have a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
You can send as many jobs as you want, as long as they are after January 1, 2021.
The organization reserves the right to choose the works that will participate in the Festival.
The original recordings must have a minimum of image and audio quality so that the work can be understood. Works that do not meet this requirement will be excluded.
REGISTRATION will be made through the Festhome platform.
In any case, if you have any difficulties with the platform, please do not hesitate to write to us at begiradakfestival@ikertze.net
The mandatory formats for the presentation of the works will be: MPGE2 .MPEG4 .MOV .AVI
Along with the registration form, two frames will be attached in jpg format. or png. of the work
The festival has 7 participation profiles, not necessarily mutually exclusive, and in their registration, the author must indicate in which of them they participate. The Festival will respect that choice and reserves the right to include it, in addition, in some other category if it considers it appropriate.
The categories are:
1. Short films made by primary school students and aimed at this range of audiences. Between 6 and 12 years old.
2. Short films made by high school and high school students and aimed at this range of audiences. Between 12 and 18 years old.

4. Short films made by individual authors, who have carried out their work independently of a school, group, etc.
5. Short films by authors or groups that have people with functional diversity
6. Animation short films
