4th edition of the Arts Convergences Prize

Call for projects for 4’max videos

Presentation of the Prize

Make all audiences aware of the reality experienced by people suffering from mental illnesses, better understand these illnesses, promote works
cinematographic quality…These are the objectives of the
Convergence Arts Prize.

Living with a mental illness can take many forms. Thus a large space of freedom is left to the participants of the Prix Arts Convergences for whom the creation of these videos is the opportunity to discover the difficulties, but especially the
wealth of imagination and humor implemented to overcome, circumvent and experience this handicap on a daily basis.

This Prize is offered in the form of a call for projects, open to all, for 4'max videos of all genres (documentary, fiction, animation, etc.) with more than €5,000 in prize money for the award-winning videos, by the Jury and by the public.

The call for projects will be distributed for several months to schools and training courses that address the subject of communication through images (journalism, fine arts,
audiovisual, cinema, etc.) but also with medico-social structures and psychiatric care structures.

The very short format of these videos allows you to get to the point. Brevity is also the
guarantee of an effective presence on the web and social networks in order to make these videos and the issues they raise as widely known as possible.

Several Prizes with €5,000 in prize money will be awarded in December 2022 in Paris: the Grand Prize (€2,500), the Jury Prize (€1,500), the Public Prize (€1,000).

The Public Prize will be awarded following the online votes counted on the Jury's preselection.

Opening of the candidate space until October 17, 2022, inclusive
