SVP International Film Festival ()

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Film Festival has started in year 2019 with an ideology of creating and promoting the atmosphere of film culture in Surat , Gujarat .

Our Objective is to gather the independent and professional film makers and artist from all over the world in our City of Sun – Surat , Gujarat to share knowledge and experiences through the medium of films .

Our film festival Tagline is : One World One Cinema One Stage

1. Submissions are accepted through Festhome.

2. Submission must include:
• The name and gender of the key creative credits (Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Composer, and Lead Performer). Please be specific; names will not suffice as gender identification.
• A short synopsis
• Running time
• Genre

3. Regarding Submission of you film , you can choose any of the following methods

(a) via Festhome

(b) via Post , a pendirive or DVD which must includes your film , poster , stills , director details , crew details and materials for social promotions , and sent it to the address : 210 - Raghuveer Symphony Shoppers , Althan Bhimrad Canal Road , Surat , Gujarat - 395007 .

4. Rearding Submission of fee , you can choose any one of the folllowing methods

5. All submitted documents and materials would be used to be published on the website or social networks for promotion.

6. There is no restriction about the date of the production of the films.

7. Films previously submitted are NOT eligible for consideration.

8.All communications will be sent electronically, including selection and notification letters. Please make sure the email address and phone number provided as the submission contact on the entry form are correct!

9. Films shown at private screenings not open to the public (for crew, investors, etc.) are eligible

10. All films submitted must be fully completed as works in progress will not be considered.

11. Any decisions made by the judges and/or competition administrators must be considered final and cannot be disputed.

12. Productions must be independently produced, with the maker retaining complete editorial control and copyright.

13. It is a internayional film festival competition open to all organisations/ agency/ independent/ producer/ director.

14. All entries must be either in English or with English subtitles. Non-English entries submitted without English subtitles are not eligible.

15. The Festival has the right to disqualify or remove
any winning film for any reasons, without having to explain the reasons to the submitter.

16.The Festival reserves the right to shut the festival at any time without any notification.

17. Entry Fees
Each entry must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. Entry fees are not refundable. Fees cover registration, registration notification, full consideration by the programming department, and notification of the results.

18. FILM/FILE TRANSPORTATION
※ The party responsible for sending film materials bears the cost of transporting selected films. The festival incurs the cost of the films return. If sent via mail, the sender must provide the festival with necessary information regarding its return (date needed by/address/phone number). International parcels should be marked ‘For Cultural Purposes Only/No Commercial Value'. The copy will be returned within three weeks after festival completion.

19. JUDGING PROCESS
Selection criteria for films may include the, point of view or innovation of the screenplay, the technical or professional quality of filmmaking, the ground breaking or cutting edge theme of the film, the film’s length, its’ educational and/or entertainment value, the film’s insight into a way of life or culture, film reviews and/or awards garnered by the film, its official selection by film festivals, or the viewpoint of Program Committee members
