There are no age limts, nor residence or citizenship restrictions.

Works must be no more than 3 years old (produced after 01/05/2015).

Works already released or presented to oher competitions are adimitted.

Each author can participate to the selection with a maximum of two works, regardless of the section they enter.

Works have to be in Italian or, if not in Italian, with Italian subtitles.

Works in foreign languages with English subtitles are admitted, but subtitles have to be included in an .srt file with correct time-codes, so that the Organization will be able to translate them in Italian.

Maximum duration: 15 '.

Corti a Ponte is a great little festival in the Venice area.

Films are screened in Italian or with Italian subtitles in front of an audience from 5 to 80 year old.

2. best animation category

3. best Under 18 short film (narrative/animation)

4. best "Bridge" short film

5. best "Slowness" short film

6. best “Creative Commons” short film.

An audience award will be given to the most voted films of all the sections.

Other awards or special mentions can be conferred at the jury’s discretion.

The Organization Committee might decide to give a Corti a Ponte Association Award.

There will be no money prizes.

NARRATIVE Short Film Category

Section under 18 - Short films suitable for children, youth and families.

Section over 18 – All other films.

Only narrative live action short films. No video documentaries, art-videos, dance-videos and pictures sequences.

Works must be in Italian or with Italian subtitles.

English subtitles can be accepted only if provided in a separate .srt file with correct time-codes along with a file of the film with no subtitles.

Submission Deadline: October 31, 2018


All received films will undergo a first selection by the Festival Selection Committee. The films selected as finalists will be screened during the festival nights.

Short listed authors will be contacted by e-mail or via subscription-platform internal mail. Non selected works will no receive any notification. Authors will be given 10 days to complete the documentation and to send the projection file.
Films will be selected as finalists only with complete documentation.

The program with list of finalists will be published on the festival website.
Non selected works won't receive any notification.

Selected films will be included in the Festival's Archive.


The selected films screenings and the award ceremony will take place during the “Corti a Ponte” film festival, in the Town Hall of Ponte San Nicolò (Padua).

The selected films can be screen during the Summer Show organized by Corti a Ponte association.
