The Seventh International Festival Les Saisons Parisiennes is organized by Les Saisons Parisiennes Films, Paris.
Festival will take place in the space of the St.Petersburg Film House. All the films will necessarily leave in Grand Tour 2018-2019.

The Les Saisons Parisiennes International Festival will offer a short fiction program in the following categories:

French films from France and other countries
Non-French films from other countries

The general theme: Paris and the cities of the world

The theme of the Festival: Comedy only (romantic, black, dramatic, etc.)

Competing for the Awards: Best Short Film and Best Feature

The Prize will be awarded to filmmakers or potential distributors.

IMPORTANT: All the films that participated in the 2018 Festival, will necessarily start in the Grand Tour, which will take place in different cities of Russia between July 10, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

The Seventh International Festival Les Saisons Parisiennes is organized by Les Saisons Parisiennes Films, Paris.

REGULATION (to be kept)
The aim of the Festival is to promote films made by novice and confirmed filmmakers on the subject of Paris and Parisian life, but also on Paris' view of the World's Great Cities, in order to better understand the situation and evolution. filmmakers from all over the world and their cinema in every country represented.

The Les Saisons Parisiennes International Festival will offer a short fiction program in the following categories:

French films from France and other countries
Non-French films from other countries

The general theme: Paris and the cities of the world

The theme: Comedy only (romantic, black, dramatic, etc.)

Competing for the Best Short Film Awards

The Prize will be awarded to filmmakers or potential distributors.

IMPORTANT: All the films that participated in the 2018 Festival, will necessarily start in the Grand Tour, which will take place in different cities of Russia between July 10, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

The award-winning films will be re-projected eventually during the day of Palmarès in Paris during the year.

The Festival thanks the producers of the award-winning films in advance to let a film copy for the archives in the possession of the Festival, and to mention the Prize in any advertising document of the film, and in case of distribution to be included in the credits. on posters and press kits.

The Festival reserves the right to present films that do not fall under these headings.

SUBTITLES OF SELECTED FILMS

6. I - PROJECTION COPY

IMPORTANT: The competition projection copy must be sent in 2go max MP4 format without any subtitling, obligatorily accompanied by a dialogue file of the film in French or in English in SRT format with time-codes (according to the standards of subtitling ).
Films without the requested formats will not be accepted for the screening. Any delays in sending projection copies will be penalized.

Russian translation and editing of subtitles in Russian are the responsibility of Festival.

The projection copy must be sent before April 1, 2018 to:

Projection copies may be sent electronically at their own expense to the e-mail address indicated by the Festival Office.

Projection copies may be sent directly to the address indicated by the Festival Office at their expense.

Directors and producers can send their copies to a USB key at BP in Paris, France, at their own expense.

II - COPY OF THE LARGE TOUR AND DISTRIBUTION

IMPORTANT: All the films that participated in the Autumn Festival 2018, will necessarily start in the Grand Tour, which will take place in different cities of Russia and Russophone countries between July 10, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

The copy of the Grand Tour is the same of the Festival.

IMPORTANT: The Festival reserves the rights of exclusivity of projection and diffusion of film participating in the Festival throughout the territory of Russia throughout the duration of the Tour between July 10, 2018 and June 30, 2019. (A projection of the film by city throughout the duration of the Tour)

The copy of the Distribution is the same of the Festival.

IMPORTANT: In addition to the Tour, the Festival's film rights may be offered the one-year distribution contract, exclusive to the entire territory of Russia.


III - COPY OF REPROJECTION

Selected films or films from the whole festival can be reprojected during the day of Palmarès in Paris.

IMPORTANT: Reprojection copy must be in MP4 format, which must be subtitled in French for non-French-language films. The subtitles must be integrated in the image of the film and are dependent on the rights-holders of the film.
All delays in sending projection copies and subtitles including mistakes will be penalized. Films not subtitled in French will not be accepted for reprojection.

Registration fees are payable upon sending pre-selection DVDs and must be sent by check payable to Les Saisons Parisiennes or by bank transfer (request RIB) to:

Amount of registration fee is:
20 euros for all short films

Registration fees are not refundable.

HOW TO SEND YOUR FILM?
a) For the pre-selection:
Any proposed film must be received by the Festival before March 1, 2018. It is requested to send the film by mail, on DVD, accompanied by dialogues in French, at the address of the BP of the company Les Saisons Parisiennes:

If you want to recouper the DVD sent to the Festival it will contact us from October 2018. The shipment will be at your expense.

b) If the film is selected:

INSURANCE / TRANSPORTATION
In both cases (pre-selection or final participation in the Festival) the expenses of return transport, and insurance for all the operations of transit of the copy and cassettes, are the sole responsibility of the owner of the film.
The Festival will pay for the selected films only:
insurance fees only during the Festival period and at the festival venue.
In the event of loss or damage during the Festival, the responsibility of the Festival is incurred only for the replacement value of the copy (certified by the form describing the state of copy). Only copies in perfect condition of projection will be accepted.




PRESENCE OF REALISATORS AND REALIZERS
Each director whose film has been selected can go to the Festival at their own expense. Travel and subsistence expenses in St.Petersburg, Paris or other Festival cities are not the responsibility of the Festival for the sixth edition.
The filmmakers present could participate in press conferences and master-class of festival.
