"Visões Macabras: Cine Terror" is an international horror short film festival, focusing on films up to 20 minutes long, covering all parts of the world. The festival will host fiction and animation shorts, highlighting the creativity and talent of filmmakers who use the short format to explore fear, suspense and the supernatural. The goal is to bring together productions that challenge the limits of horror, providing the audience with an intense and immersive experience.

1. Best Horror Short Film - Fiction
Shows fictional short films that explore fear in original and creative narratives.

2. Best Horror Short Film - Animation
Animated short films that use horror in innovative and visually impressive ways.

3. Best Director
Award for the best director, recognizing talent in narrative and visual direction.

4. Best Screenplay
Focuses on the originality and effectiveness of the script to create fear and tension in a short time.

5. Best Visual or Practical Effects
Award for shorts that demonstrate innovation and mastery in visual or practical effects.

6. Best Acting
To highlight outstanding performances that contribute to the atmosphere of terror.

1. Registration.
Films up to 20 minutes long and at least 10 minutes long will be accepted.

2. Foreign Films.
All foreign films must have a subtitle file in Portuguese or a file in English (*.txt) so that the Festival can translate them.
