The organizing committee of the Oro Negro Film Festival in its Sixth Edition, invites all filmmakers from around the world to participate in the SIXTH SHORT FILM CONTEST OF THE ORO NEGRO FILM FESTIVAL, according to the following:

1. Only short films produced between January 1, 2018 and until the closing date of the call will be able to register.

2. There are no restrictions regarding the recording format, nor regarding the amount of materials registered per director, but an individual registration procedure must be followed for each work.

3. Short films that are not spoken in Spanish must have subtitles in that language.

4. Once the work is registered and selected, it cannot be withdrawn from the official program of the Oro Negro Film Festival.

5. By registering his short film, the director authorizes the Oro Negro Film Festival to display the works during the contest in person and in its virtual room, in addition to being able to include fragments in promotionals; as well as to be screened in other forums or non-profit film exhibitions.

6. The directors of the registered short films must be responsible for the authorship of their works, assuming that the short film has the due copyright. In the event of any violation, it will be disqualified from the contest and the Oro Negro Film Festival will be exempt from any responsibility.

7. Winning short films or exhibited in other festivals or film shows may be entered.

8. A category may be declared void in the event that an adequate number of short films registered in said section is not reached. For this purpose, the filmmakers will be notified and the registration fees will be returned after the Festival or they will be taken as registration for the seventh edition of the contest.

9. The Organizing Committee will announce the order, place, times and dates of the selected short films in advance to the participants.

10. Anything not provided for in this call is for the consideration of the organizing committee and its decision will be final.
