1. ORGANIZATION
The Festival is promoted by Associazione culturale Ennio Flaiano, under the patronage of Fondazione Edoardo Tiboni and collaboration of Mediamuseum-Museum of Cinema.
The Festival will take place in Pescara (Italy), from 3 to 6 December 2019.
2. SECTIONS
Multimedia works may be admitted (shorts, documentaries, digital storytelling, video works...) in competitive section. The jury is presided by Franco Mariotti, journalist and expert of cinema.
The competitive sections are:
1 - “SCRITTURA E IMMAGINE”:
Works (fiction, documentaries) inspired by literature, drama and chronicle.
Prize: 1500 euros.
2 – “CORTOSCUOLA” (ONLY FOR ITALY)
Shorts produced by schools.
Prize: 500 euros.
3 - “ANIMACORTO”:
Animated short film section.
Prize: 500 euros.
4 – (ONLY FOR ITALY) “SPAZIO ABRUZZO: ENVIRONMENT AND ENOLOGY”
Shorts produced in Abruzzo - a region of Italy – and shorts focused on the world of wine and agriculture.
Prize: 500 euros.
5 – “CORTOAMBIENTE: your city and environment”
Shorts focused on society, environment and environmental sustainability.
Prize: 500 euros.
Cash Prizes: 3,500€

3.ELIGIBLE WORKS
The duration of the shorts must not exceed 15 minutes, including titles and credits.
Shorts must be subtitled (in Italian or in English).
The Festival accepts only short films and documentaries produced after 1st January 2017.
Each work can only be entered for one section, and the choice must be clearly indicated in the entry form.
Submission is free of charge.
4.SUBMISSION METHODS
All shorts and documentaries can be realized with different formats (film, magnetic, digital).
Materials sent for the competition will not be returned and will be part of the Associazione culturale Ennio Flaiano and Mediamuseum, that will use them also for programs after the Festival.
For the selection the author have to send a PAL-DVD copy, the entry form, two set photos and synopsis to:

Authors can also submit their shorts on line using Festhome, Vimeo and wetransfer.com (file .mov, .avi or .mpeg, only downloadable file).
In this case authors will have to send the entry form, photos and synopsis to:

Deadline: 31 OCTOBER 2019
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COPIES SUBMITTED WILL BE USED FOR SCREENING.
In absence of one or more required conditions and if the short’s link is not accessible, expired or incorrect, selection committee can decide to not evaluate the short.
5.SCREENING
The selected works will be screened during the Festival (3-6 December 2019).
We’ll notify by mail only if your short will be selected.
The program of festival will be on our website and social networks.
6. GENERAL ISSUES
All shipping costs are paid by the applicant.
The Organization of the Festival is not responsible for any postal delays, loss or damage.
Winners will be contacted by email.
The awarding of the prize depends on the presence of the prizewinner.
The Jury’s decision will be final and incontestable.
Once they are submitted, all participants fully accept our rules and regulations for participating.
For any controversy the Italian text is the authoritative version.
The settling of any other controversy lies in the competence of the Court of Pescara.
