Panorámica, International Independent Film Festival invites students of cinema, visual arts and communication, independent filmmakers, amateurs and professionals, from all around the world, to participate in PANORÁMICA 7th Edition 2020, which will be screened in several venues in Mexico City.

Panorámica is a spot for the promotion and display of cinematographic works. This event is a non-profit organisation, and its main priority is the independent cinema created by emerging filmmakers from all over the world.

The main aim of the Festival is to provide to new filmmakers the possibility of making their works widely known, and thus to facilitate a dialogue between the author and its audience. In order to make this happen, Panorámica will conduct Q&A sessions between the author, the festival’s crew/cast and the audience; these sessions will take place during the Festival.

We recognize the filmmakers' work by giving them a certificate for their participation. There will not be a physical or monetary award.

Opel call for entries: February 1st to Nov 15th.
Notification day: December 5th.
To be screened on 2021.

Los 30 cineastas seleccionados, serán exhibidos en el mes de octubre, en salas de cine de alta calidad en la Ciudad de México.
Los directores tendrán la oportunidad de asistir a las sesiones de preguntas y respuestas durante la Muestra.
Todas las películas seleccionadas recibirán reconocimiento escrito y firmado por parte de los organizadores de Panorámica.

– Short films (1 to 29 minutes), medium-length films (30 to 59 minutes), and full-length films (60 to 120 minutes).
– Productions made throughout 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
– A maximum of two works per participant.
– Films from all around the world (international call).
– Works of any category and genre are admitted.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The film categories allowed are Fiction (all film genres), Docu-drama, Animation, Documentary, Filmed play-acting, Experimental cinema and Video poetry.

* If selected, Panorámica will ask to the author the video file with subtitles in Spanish (embedded or in a srt. file). Panorámica's staff offers our subtitling services at a cost of 50 USD ($1,000.00 MXN).

2. Our fundamental parameter is creative authenticity and an accurate film language.

3. The chosen films will be screened in the venues published by Panorámica on its official websites.

4. Timetables will be make known in the section Showtime-list in Panorámica official websites.

5. Once the Oficial Selection is settled, Panorámica will contact the filmmakers, so the chosen participants can assist to their respective screenings the days of the event (Panorámica is not responsible of the transportation of the participants) to carry out the Q&A session succesfully.

In case the participant is selected, a Press-Kit will be requested with the following requirements:

* The movie archive in a definitive version in order to be ready to exhibit (final
