Memorimage. Festival Internacional de Cine de Reus es un festival centrado en la exhibición de producciones audiovisuales CON IMÁGENES DE ARCHIVO.

La XVIII edición de Memorimage se celebrará del 8 al 11 de noviembre del 2023.

Memorimage awards are:

1. REUS CITY AWARD
Award to the Best Film of Official Section. Statuette awarded to the Film Director on behalf of Reus City Council. The Jury designated by the organization will decide this award

* This award is applicable to all films screened at the Official Section.

2. CINEMA RESCAT AWARD
An Award to the Best Research Work. A statuette was given to the Film Researcher on behalf of the Cinema Rescat Association. The Jury configured by Cinema·Rescat will decide this award.

* This award is applicable to all films in the Official Section, MemoriReus and the closing film.

3. MEMORIREUS AWARD
An award to the Best Film of MemoriReus Section. The audiences attending the Festival will decide on the winner of this award by simple majority vote. Sponsored by Rabassa, Arts Grafíques.
*This award is applicable to all films screened at MemoriReus section.

4. MEMORIJOVE AWARD
An award to the Best Film of Memorijove Section. A statuette given to the director. The audience attending at the Memorijove will decide on the winner of this award by simple majority bote. *This award is applicable to all films screened at Memorijove


5. AUDIENCE AWARD
Award to the Best Film of Official Section or MemoriReus Section. The audiences attending the Festival will decide on the winner of this award by simple majority vote
* This award is applicable to all films screened at the Official Section or MemoriReus Section.

None of the awards described in point 6 may be declared void or exequo.

Both the decision of the jury and the films selection are final and will not be submitted to further discussion.

Todas las películas en competición deben contener, obligatoriamente, IMÁGENES AUDIOVISUALES DE ARCHIVO (imágenes en movimiento, fotografías estáticas y/o archivos de audio). Entendemos como imágenes de archivo aquellas que, independientemente de su antigüedad, reflejan situaciones, lugares, hechos, personas, etc. que en la actualidad ya no podrían ser filmados de nuevo. Imágenes grabadas, en su origen, sin el objetivo de ser usadas en la película o programa de televisión en concreto.

Las películas programadas no deben de haber sido estrenadas en el estado español (ni comercialmente ni emitidas en televisión), y preferentemente, en ningún otro festival del estado español.

*No obstante, Memorimage se reserva el derecho a programar, de manera excepcional, películas ya exhibidas.

*Esta premisa no es determinante para la sección MemoriReus.

La selección de las películas irá a cargo de las personas programadoras nombradas por el equipo organizador del festival a través de la convocatoria abierta de películas.
