Competition Categories:

- EcoFilms: Fiction, animation and documentary films, in which the central theme is related to ecology, nature and everything that has to do with the rural world.

- RuralFicción: free themed films.

- Quijote Film: free themed films from authors born or residents in the autonomy of Castilla-La -Mancha (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo). The organization reserves the right to request documentation for verification.

- Bizarre Section: Audiovisual extreme Thematic.

Running time:
The short films may not run over 25 minutes.
The medium films from 25 to 45 minutes.
The feature films longer than 45 minutes.

Rural FilmFest is an International Itinerant Film Festival in La Mancha (Spain) and is celebrating in 2019 its seventh edition. Rural FilmFest is not a common film festival, it is a unique and unrepeatable event. It is a summer camp, with excursions, multi-adventure, international coexistence, dance, party and friends for all life. It is the experience of your life and if you attend, you will not want it goes over and you will want to return next year... If you have a fiction film, animation or documentary whether it is a short film or a feature film, do not hesitate to submit.

To participate:

You have a film.

No matter where you come from. The Festival is open to filmmakers from all over the world.

You can submit as many films as you wish.

It is not a problem if the films have been previously screened, shown on the Internet or in other festivals.

The films may be in Spanish or in any other language with Spanish subtitles. For the SELECTION process are not necessary Spanish subtitles but if your film is selected we will ask you Spanish subtitles for the public screening.

The organization can use pieces from the selected films (10% maximum) to promote them and the festival.

Selected films of Rural FilmFest 2019 will become part of "Rural FilmFest Tour" besides being able to participate in any of the activities constituting Rural FilmFest.

Format:
All of the submitted films can participate, no matter the format. The screening will be from a 1080p digital file (participants will be informed about the format needed for the screening with time enough).

Submission deadline is March, 31 2019.

The organization reserves the right to accept a film, if it is not sent within the registration period together with all the necessary documents.

Once the films have been received, and until the deadline, the organization will select those taking part in the competition and will inform the selected participants before the 1/05/2019.

Registration implies acceptance of all the regulations. All fees are non-refundable. Any other issue which is not included here will be sorted by the RFF 2019 organization.
