Getafe en Corto is a short film festival organized by Onda Vecinal Getafe, in collaboration with the Getafe City Council.

It will be held on March 27, 28 and 29, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., at the Getafe Market Space. Pl. de la Constitución, 5, 28901 Getafe, Madrid

Jury Award for Best Short Film.

Jury Award - for Best Direction.

Jury Award - fur Best Performance.

Premio del Jurado - Mejor Cortometraje Internacional.

Audience Award.

Participation rules Getafe in Corto 2025

Short films that meet these requirements may participate:

1. Short films never exceeding 13 minutes in total length will be admitted.

2. Short films sent to Getafe en Corto must have been produced after January 2022.

3. Short films of all themes and genres, national and international, are admitted.

4. All selected works will be eligible for the following prizes:

- Jury Prize for Best Short Film.

- Jury Award for Best Director.

- Jury Award for Best Performance.

- Jury Prize for Best Screenplay

- Jury Prize for Best International Short Film.

5. In all categories, "La Chevela" will be awarded.

6. More than one short film can be submitted.

7. Participation implies acceptance of the above rules, whose interpretation and application corresponds to the organization.

8. As a necessary requirement for selection, the attendance of at least one member of the team is requested to present the short film.

9. Whoever owns the rights to the short film authorizes the free reproduction of images and inserts (max. 1 minute) of their short film in the press, television and publications in the promotion of Getafe en Corto.

10. A registration fee of €6 will be charged for receiving each short film in the official section. And €24 in the international section.

11. Any change in these bases due to error or omission will be made public immediately and will have retroactive value.

12. It will be an accessible festival for people with hearing problems, so it is mandatory that the short films be subtitled in Spanish.

1. Getafe en Corto will be held on March 27, 28 and 29, 2025, at 8 p.m., at the Espacio Mercado de Getafe, Pl. de la Constitución, 5, 28901 Getafe, Madrid

2. Short films must be sent through the Festhome and Filmfreeway platforms.
