The selection criteria for the works are: those that promote human rights, peace and coexistence, or are related to sub-themes such as environmental rights, women's rights, the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community, Afro-descendant people, peasants, indigenous people, and people with disabilities.

The first edition of the Latin American, Antillean, and Caribbean Film Festival is now open for submissions. This event provides a platform for the promotion, dissemination, and exchange of ideas between Latin American and European culture.

The Latin American, Antillean, and Caribbean Film Festival (FLAC) 2026 will take place between May 7 and May 30, 2026.

Both new and previously released films from before 2025 will be accepted.

Films must be submitted by April 17, 2026.

Films must not exceed 90 minutes in length.

Works in progress will not be accepted; all films must be completed.

It is essential to submit copies of the film using the methods, in the formats, and within the deadlines specified by the organizing committee.

Works in Spanish, Basque, French, English, or native languages are accepted, provided they are subtitled in Spanish or English if that is not the original language (embedded subtitles are preferred).

The Organizing Committee will select the titles based on the aforementioned requirements and will give priority to those that meet its defined criteria.

Submission of films does not guarantee acceptance.
