LESFEST LESBIAN FILM FESTIVAL OF PERU

COMPETITIONS

Lesfest features four competitions:

Feature Film Competition: Productions from any country worldwide with a running time of over 60 minutes are eligible. These films must have been produced after January 1, 2024.

Short Film Competition: Films from any country worldwide with a maximum running time of 30 minutes are eligible. These films must have been produced after January 1, 2024.

Series Competition: Series from any country worldwide with a minimum running time of 1 minute and a maximum of 40 minutes in various production formats are eligible. The episodes must have been produced after January 1, 2024.

Tributes and Focuses: films selected by the programming team without an open call for submissions.

CONDITIONS

The call for entries is open from Wednesday, January 28th to Sunday, March 1st, 2025.

If the film is not in Spanish, the screening copies must include Spanish subtitles in an SRT file.

If the film is selected, final technical specifications and promotional material requirements will be requested.

The filmmakers must hold the rights to the film.

Any questions or ambiguities in these guidelines will be resolved by the Festival's Artistic Direction.

All participating films may be eligible for screening at Festival events for one year after the third edition, which will be communicated to the filmmakers in advance.

RESULTS

Selected filmmakers will be notified by March 28, 2026. Submission of the screening files will constitute a commitment and guarantee of participation.

The list of selected films will be announced prior to the start of the Festival.

Lesfest will take place from April 23 to 26 of this year.
