FIRST OBSTACLES TO OVERCOME

Projects that already have nominations have a much higher selection rate.

That’s why we have decided to be a “bridge festival”, helping you secure those first nominations. This way, you’ll have many more chances of being selected by other festivals.

WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHER FESTIVALS?

We believe the relationship between festivals and artists should once again be closer. Every festival has a responsibility to use all its resources to support filmmakers on their journey. Nowadays, festivals tend to promote only the winning projects, and that is not enough. Financing a festival run requires a huge effort, and festivals should do much more to help.

This is our motto:

Clear communication: We respond to all emails, personally notify all nominees, and send a second email to winners with the full list of award recipients in each category.

Constant promotion: We promote all submitted projects weekly throughout the festival.

Custom laurels: We create personalized laurels for each winning project so you can use them on your social media.

Ultra-low fees: As a festival, we subsidize 70% of the cost of each submission, so the final fee paid by the artist is much lower than usual. This is our way of supporting you on this journey.

Networking: Connections with directors, producers, and distributors.

Our rules are very simple to make the process as easy as possible for you.

Please note that there is no limit on the production date, nor do we require the project to be a premiere in any territory.

1. Running times

Short film: 0 to 59 minutes

Feature film: 60 to 180 minutes

Documentary: 0 to 180 minutes

Music video: 0 to 8 minutes

Short script: 0 to 30 pages

Feature script: 30 to 180 pages

2. Languages
Projects must be in Spanish, Catalan, or English. If the project is in any other language, it must include subtitles in Spanish, Catalan, or English. Scripts are accepted in Spanish, Catalan, and English.

3. Refunds
Once registration has been completed, refunds are allowed up to 5 days after purchase. After this period, no refunds will be accepted, as we will have begun working on the project.

4. Intellectual property
By submitting your project, you assume responsibility for any copyright claims, releasing the festival from any infringement of your work’s rights.

5. Promotional use
You authorize us to use excerpts of your project for promotional purposes, never exceeding one minute in duration.

6. Promotion and Networking
One of our goals is to promote your work. By submitting, you give us permission to publish a promotional post about your project on Instagram, including the poster and synopsis, to maximize its exposure.

7. Organization’s rights
The organizers reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule dates, venues, awards, and categories without prior notice or consent.

Submission implies full acceptance of these rules.
