Inizio del Festival: 31 ottobre 2026      Festival si chiude: 31 ottobre 2026

The festival seeks to create a space for dissemination, meeting, and creative dialogue, where filmmakers, artists, and audiovisual professionals can share their works, exchange experiences, and open new opportunities for collaboration and project development.

All selected films will be presented to the public through the screening of an official trailer of up to 30 seconds during the festival’s online program, allowing each work to gain international visibility.

The RENUAC Festival, produced by Podcultura Producciones and Macumba Films, is part of a network of cultural events dedicated to independent cinema.

As part of its annual program, the festival includes a special awards section for international actors, Chilean actors, and emerging talents in film and television.

The festival does not require premiere status, therefore short films that have already been screened or are available online are eligible for submission.

Each submitted film will be fully viewed by members of the festival’s selection team, ensuring a serious and respectful curatorial process for every filmmaker’s work.

The RENUAC Festival is open to both the general public and industry professionals, including distributors, programmers, and agents from the audiovisual sector.

Organizations, production companies, and independent filmmakers, both national and international, are welcome to submit their short films to the festival.

By submitting a film, participants authorize the RENUAC Festival to screen the material during the official festival program and to use excerpts or images from the work for promotional purposes related to the event.

The 4th edition of the RENUAC International Festival, dedicated to short films, music videos, and trailers, is open to filmmakers from all over the world.

Works produced using any filming system or format are accepted, as well as all cinematic genres.

The maximum running time for submitted works is 25 minutes, including credits.

The submission deadline is July 30, 2026.

Eligible works must have been completed after January 1, 2024.

Films must be in Spanish or include Spanish subtitles if the original language is different.

The official selection will be determined by a Special Committee of experts, whose members will be announced on the festival’s official website at the end of September 2026.

Selected short films may be programmed in any competitive or parallel section, according to the criteria of the RENUAC Festival.

For promotional purposes, the festival may use clips of up to 1 minute from the selected works to promote the event.

Submissions must be made exclusively online through the official platforms authorized by the festival.

All festival screenings will be held in digital format, regardless of the original filming format.

Each selected work may participate in only one competitive category.

The Organizing Committee will contact the selected filmmakers to request the official screening file.

Selected short films will compete for the Award in their respective category. The festival may also grant additional special awards if deemed appropriate.

Awards will be announced during the official festival awards ceremony.

By submitting a film, the rights holders authorize the festival to screen the work during the festival and use excerpts for promotional purposes related to the event.

The RENUAC Festival organization does not assume contractual obligations with the authors or with any collective rights management organizations.

Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.

The festival accepts films from any country, provided that they include Spanish subtitles when the original language is different.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
