Casilino Cinema Fest – Visioni Fuori dal Mondo is an independent, experimental and underground film festival held in Rome.

The summer edition takes place at Casilino Sky Park, an open-air arena in the heart of the eastern suburbs — a cultural space dedicated to new languages and youth creativity.

The festival showcases short films, debut features, web series, music videos, short documentaries, animations, video art, mockumentaries, and everything that moves beyond conventional formats.

“Visioni Fuori dal Centro” is not just a geographical reference — it’s an attitude.

It’s a gaze that rises outside institutional, academic, or commercial systems. We value hybrid languages, poetic visions, and raw yet authentic gestures.

The festival is accompanied by live performances, installations, and moments of real exchange with the local community.

The festival judges will be: ???????????????? ???????????????????????????????? (comic artist and co-creator of Miles Morales Spider-Man) and ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????? (voice actor, director, and actor). The third judge will be announced in the coming days.

Open to filmmakers from all backgrounds, Casilino Cinema Fest aims to be a cultural space where art meets the street, technique meets instinct, and cinema becomes a collective experience

Voted by the audience during screenings.

Submissions are open to all nationalities and languages.

Films that are not in Italian must include English subtitles.

Works already published online are accepted.

Films must comply with the time limits described in each category.

Selected films authorize the festival to screen their work and to use short clips (up to 30 seconds) for promotional purposes.

All rights remain with the authors.

Submission fees are non-refundable.
