The Future of Money AI Film Contest, presented by Bitcoin FilmFest and MoneroKon is a public competition for short films made with AI tools.

Open to filmmakers, artists, animators, creative technologists, storytellers, and first-time makers from anywhere in the world.

AI should play a meaningful role in the creative process.

Fully generated or hybrid workflows are both welcome.

Films must be in English or subtitled in English.

Filmmakers keep all rights.

Selected films screen live at Bitcoin FilmFest in Warsaw (June 4–7, 2026) and appear in a public online gallery opening June 1, 2026.

Winners announced live June 7, 2026.

2,500,000 sats in prizes across tracks.

BFF AI Film Contest 2026 — Rules & Regulations

Presented by Bitcoin FilmFest

1. ELIGIBILITY

Open to creators worldwide. No age or nationality restrictions.

First-time makers are welcome.


2. FILM REQUIREMENTS

- Length: 1 to 15 minutes

- AI must play a meaningful role in the creative process

- Fully AI-generated or hybrid workflows are both welcome

- Language: English or subtitled in English


3. SUBMISSION

- One film per submission. Each film must be submitted separately.

- You may submit more than one film.

- Deadline: May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT. No late submissions accepted.


4. SELECTION PROCESS

- The Bitcoin FilmFest jury selects a shortlist after May 31, 2026.

- Shortlisted films screen live at Bitcoin FilmFest, Warsaw, June 4–7, 2026.

- Winner decided by live audience vote on June 7, 2026.


5. PRIZES

1st Place — 1,500,000 sats (~$998)
2nd Place — 750,000 sats (~$499)
3rd Place — 250,000 sats (~$166)
Prizes paid in Bitcoin via Lightning.


6. RIGHTS

Creators retain all rights to their work. By submitting, you grant Bitcoin FilmFest the non-exclusive right to screen your film at the festival and display it in the public online gallery. No transfer of copyright or commercial rights takes place.


7. GENERAL

- Submission implies acceptance of these rules.

- Bitcoin FilmFest reserves the right to disqualify any submission
that does not meet the requirements.
