Special Announcement

In its fifth year, the 2026 Singur Film Festival turns international. In addition to its existing national competition section, this year's international, non-competitive short film section will be a great addition to the program. We hope this will bring a broad cultural perspective and a deeper understanding of world cinema to local filmgoers, enthusiasts, and filmmakers.

Consequently, the Singur Film Festival will henceforth be known as the Singur
International Film Festival.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & ELIGIBILITY

Any short film, documentary, or experimental film from anywhere in World can participate in the Singur International Film Festival 2026.

Production Year: Participation is open to films produced in 2019 or later.

Duration: The film duration must not exceed 40:00 minutes, including all credits.

Language & Subtitles: Films may be in any language or dialect; however, English subtitles are mandatory.

Technical Specification: Film screeners must be submitted in a minimum of 1080p Full HD or 4K resolution and meet standard projection quality.

Film Screener Link: Film screeners must be submitted via a link in the online submission form. Ensure the submitted link remains accessible until the end of the festival.

Entry Limit: A filmmaker can submit a maximum of two film entries.
Entries with films already released on YouTube will be automatically disqualified.


Submission Fees and Deadlines

Terms & Conditions
A submission will only be considered complete upon receipt of the duly filled entry form.

Deadlines: Films must be submitted before the final deadline of August 31, 2026.

Selection Process: Film selection is conducted by a Selection Committee set up by Singur Cine Forum(SCF). Decisions made by SCF based on the committee's recommendations are final and non-appealable. The Festival Chairman reserves the right to waive any participation condition.

Logistics: The organizers will not bear transportation costs for carrying any film materials.

Promotion: Trailers, clippings, posters, and excerpts of films may be featured on official social media pages and in the Singur Film Festival archive for promotional and publicity purposes by SCF. Film ownership rights remain entirely with the filmmaker, producer or distributor.

Withdrawals: Once officially selected, no film may be withdrawn from the festival under any circumstances until the event concludes.

Rejection: Entry forms with incorrect, inadequate, illegible, or ambiguous information will not be considered. If the festival dates and schedule change due to unavoidable circumstances, all updates will be shared promptly across our official communication and social media channels.
