24·90 FC is a film festival devoted to football, in Medellín, Colombia. Cinema for football people, football for cinema people.

Four days in a city where football plays at home on every corner, devoted to football cinema from around the world. One condition holds the programme together: football must be present, whether as the core of the story, as its trigger, or as the setting where it unfolds. Format, running time and cinematic language are free.

Organised by Corporación Cinéfagos, 15 years running film festivals in Antioquia.

Best feature film: 2,000 US dollars.
Best short film: 1,000 US dollars.

Both awards are independent and are paid to the rights holder within 60 days of the end of the festival. The festival may grant special mentions with no cash award.

CALENDAR

Call opens: 1 October 2026.

Deadline: 15 December 2026, midnight Central European Time.

Results: 25 January 2027.

Festival: 4 to 7 March 2027, in Medellín.


SECTIONS

The Official Selection is the competitive part and has two sections, split by running time.

The Full Ninety: features from 40 minutes, any country.
Short Touch: short and medium-length films from 1 to 39 minutes, any country.

Latin American cinema, with Colombia at its centre, has no separate section: it competes on equal terms in both, and the programming team seeks it out.


ELIGIBILITY

Films completed on or after 1 January 2024, any genre, with no premiere requirement.

Films not in Spanish are submitted with Spanish or English subtitles. Each film is entered once, in a single section.


ENTRY

Free of charge and only through Festhome.


SELECTION

A committee appointed by the festival direction reviews all entries and its decision is final. All entrants are notified.


IF YOUR FILM IS SELECTED

Digital screening file due by 15 February 2027, with Spanish subtitles. Two screenings at festival venues, and a third if demand calls for it. The festival pays no screening fee to rights holders for the selected films; the awards are separate from this.
