The Paracho International Independent Film Festival (FICIP) was founded in 2012 as a social event for the screening and awarding of audiovisual works that employed cinematic narrative despite having a very low budget. The Paracho International Independent Film Festival is a space for independent filmmakers and producers to showcase their work and learn about the work of others.

All selected entries will receive the Official Selection Laurels.

The winning entries will receive Recognition, as well as the Winner's Laurels.

CALL FOR FICIP 2025

1. RULES.

a) All national or international material of any cinematographic genre may participate.

b) The materials must have been produced between 2023 and 2025.

c) The works must not contain content that offends the sensibilities of others or incites violence.

d) Materials recorded with cell phone cameras, SLR cameras, or professional equipment may participate.

e) If the language used is not Spanish, it must include direct subtitles or subtitles in Spanish. Materials that are not subtitled will not be considered.

f) Anyone of any age is welcome to participate, regardless of sex, religion, or place of origin.

2. REGISTRATION.

a) Submissions may only be made through the digital platform FestHome.

b) The work must be in .MP4 format. Attached must be:

• Film Fact Sheet.
• Film Stills.
• Teaser Trailer in .MP4 format (optional).
• Film Poster in .JPG format at 300 px resolution.
• Photograph of the Director.


3. GUIDELINES.

a) Submissions will be accepted from the publication of this call for proposals on April 4th through June 22nd, with the deadline being 11:59 PM.

4. SELECTION AND awards.

a) Notifications will be sent via email and through the esthome platform regarding each selection and the status of the submitted works.

b) All selected works will receive the Official Selection Laurels.

c) The Official Selection will be announced on our social media and website on Saturday, June 22, 2025.

d) The winning works and the Winner's Laurels will receive an Award.

e) Any matters not covered herein will be resolved by the Organizing Committee.
