The National Tec de Monterrey Film Festival, is an event that impulses talent from mexican students that course different scholar levels, through a healthy competition that spreads and rewards their projects for their quality in any of the three categories:

-Short film
-Animation short film
-Documentary

NOTE: THE SECOND EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL, ONLY RECEIVES PROJECTS FROM MEXICAN STUDENTS (READ RULES AND TERMS FOR MORE DETAILS).

Besides the contest, we offer the audience a variety of nacional and international content to turn the audience’s and the competitor’s participation, into a full and rewarding experience. Our festival’s location is in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and takes place on november 2-7; anyone is invited to join us, indistinctly their age and place of procedence. The projects that are selected to form part of the official selection, will receive a diploma.
The award for best project, best short film, best animation short film, and best documentary, will receive some prizes granted by our sponsors. This categories will also receive a commemorative trophy.

The National Festival of cinema of the Tec de Monterrey, Tec Film Festival, celebrates its 2nd Edition and opens its call to university level or postgraduate students to register your audiovisual projects in any of the categories. It is important to mention that the student requirement must be complied with by at least one member of the team (Director, producer, screenwriter and/or Director of photography).
