OFFICIAL CALL FOR STUFF VI 2022
The International Independent Film Festival of Mexico SUTFF Mx invites directors, producers, filmmakers, video makers and video DJs from Mexico and around the world to submit their feature films, short fiction films feature films, short fiction films (horror, comedy, drama, action and science fiction), animation, audiovisual works, fanmades and music videos to the sixth edition, which will be held during VI, which will take place during the third week of November 2022.

The winners of works in competition will receive the following awards.

- STUFF MX Award for Best Fiction Feature Film
- STUFF MX Award for Best International Fiction Short Film.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Mexican Fiction Feature Film.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Mexican Fiction Short Film.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Animated Short Film.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Experimental Short Film.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Documentary.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Short Film made with mobile devices.
- STUFF MX Award for Best Erotic Short Film.

Winning works may be eligible to participate as guests at STUFF FILM FESTIVAL's allied festivals in Mexico and abroad.

For the selections in competition, works produced between 2019 and 2022 are considered.

There is no limit to the number of films that can be submitted per director.

Productions that have members of the STUFF Mx organizing committee in their crew or cast are not eligible to enter the competition.

Works that have already participated in previous editions of STUFF MX are not eligible.

For short films, the maximum length is 25 minutes and a minimum of 1 minute per film.

For feature films, the maximum duration is 180 minutes and a minimum of 60 minutes per film.

It is necessary to pay the registration fee.

The registration period begins with the publication of this call for entries and ends on August 15, 2022.

In order to register, it is indispensable that the participant has the patrimonial and exhibition rights of the work.

Registration of the work does not guarantee its selection or exhibition.


INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS SEASON 2023.

Films, short films, documentaries and animations that wish to be considered for the different thematic screenings may register through the call for entries.

-International LGTB Film Festival.
Entries from November 1, 2021 to August 15, 2022.

- International showcase of films, short films and documentaries focused on music.
Entries from November 1, 2021 to August 15, 2022.

- International Class Z Film Festival
Registration from November 1, 2021 to August 15, 2022.

- Stuff Mx Mexican Film Festival.
Entries from November 1, 2021 to August 15, 2022.

Films, short films, documentaries, music videos and animations entered in the official competition may be invited to participate in any of these sections, at the discretion of the participants.

EXHIBITION

For the selections in competition, films and short films in Spanish must have an english subtitled version. Likewise, films or short films in english must have a version with Spanish subtitles; films in languages other than those mentioned above must have a version with english and Spanish subtitles.

All the works of the official selection will be exhibited in person and/or virtually on the official platforms of Stuff Mx depending on the corresponding authorization of the health authorities of Mexico, the country where Stuff Mx takes place.


REGISTRATION.

Registration for STUFF Mx VII is done through the Festhome platform.

All materials are evaluated by specialists, academics, filmmakers and animators chaired by the Stuff Mx Programming Department and the organizing committee.
To be considered, films, documentaries and short films must be registered as follows.

Complete the registration of the work in the selected platform from the date of publication of this call for entries until August 15, 2022.

Read and accept the conditions of participation stipulated in the call for entries and the rules and regulations.
