Festival YAQ Distribución ()

YAQ Distribución, one of the most important distribution companies in Spain, opens call for entries for the five edition of the festival.

- FOUR SILVER WINNERS- one month of mundial free distribution of the work with YAQ and a trophy (valued in 197 €). Entry fee Festivals not included.

- ONE GOLD WINNER- the world free distribution through festivals during all the year 2021 (prize of a cost of 1920 euros) and a trophy. Entry fee Festivals not included.

The festival will be opened from February to November 2022 and will select short films during all this time. The selected works would be divided in four stages (with four short films in each one) that match with the four quarters of the year: March, June, September and December.

In each stage during 2022, it will be a SILVER WINNER, that will receive one month of mundial free distribution of the work with YAQ and a certificate. This winner will be a part of the finalists and will compete for the GOLD award.

Between this four finalists, it will be a GOLD WINNER. The award for this short film is the world free distribution through festivals during all the year 2022 (prize of a cost of 1920 euros) and a certificate. The festivals included are the ones that don’t have entry fee.

The festival would be open to submissions through Festhome.

We accept short films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, in Spanish or subtitled in Spanish, of any genre (fiction, documentary, experimental, animations), theme or country.

The submission has a cost of 1 euro for Spanish shorts. For short films from abroad, the cost is 2 euros.

When you send a short film to your festival, you accept to join the YAQ mensual newsletter, that provides interesting news related to the world of short film.
