CASTELFRANCO VENETO (TV) International Short Film Festival twelfth Edition - 2024

RULES OF FESTIVAL

The purpose of the twelfth Edition of "METRICAMENTE CORTO 12" Castelfranco Veneto International Short Film Festival (Treviso, Italy) is to promote the circulation of Short Films giving the possibility to Italian and foreign artists to express themselves and to confront an audience and a panel responsible for its rating.

The “METRICAMENTE CORTO 12” MANY HAS CATEGORIES OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:

INTERNATIONAL FICTION SHORT FILM, FREE SUBJECT

ITALIAN FICTION SHORT FILM, FREE SUBJECT

INTERNATIONAL ANIMATED SHORT FILM, FREE SUBJECT

Max 15’, Italian subtitles or File SRT required

SPECIAL SECTION: "THE SHORTEST SHORT"
A Story in max 120 seconds
From January 1, 2022

The works in foreign languages must be subtitled IN ITALIAN language

if not, it’s necessary the File SRT to send together the Film

The Material can be sent also via WeTransfer or other Transfer Programme in High Quality (MP4 format similar to agree) to
metricamente@gmail.com
including the Material Paper-Photo via File to the same E-mail Address.

To allow a correct transcription of data in the Official Catalogue of the Exhibition Participants are invited to publish Poster, Photos and Informations about the Film.

The jury will be composed of teachers, Movie Fans, Head of Culture of Borgoricco,
Master o fMusic, Artistic Director of the Festival and chaired by a personality of Italian Cinema.

The jury's decision is final.

prizes will NOT CASH Recognition through awards, Plaques, Certificates, awards offered
by anyother sponsor and the Advertising that the Organization of the Festival will be able
to guarantee.

The Jury of the "METRICAMENTE CORTO 12" Castelfranco Veneto Short Film Festival Award:

• BEST DIRECTOR (Short Movie)
• BEST ACTOR (Short Movie)
• BEST ACTRESS (Short Movie)
• BEST MUSIC (Short Film)
• SPECIAL PRIZE OF THE PUBLIC (Short Movie)
• Any SPECIAL MENTIONS and Other prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the Jury when he presented the reason.

All content delivered will be retained by the Policy Committee and the Municipal Library that will become, in fact, Owners.

The Cultural Association "Bottega dell'Arte", together with the Municipality of Borgoricco in person of Assessor of Culture, reserve the right to promote the Short Films in proposing appropriate Rassegne dedicated to short film, Meetings, Conferences and Debates theme with school groups and the Public order to promote the authors and discuss the social
themes developed making PREVIOUS NOTICE AND REQUEST TO THEM.

The Material will not be returned under any circumstances.

No member of the Jury of the Festival, the Organising Association, the Artistic Director and the City of Castelfranco Veneto can participate, as a competitor, at the Festival. The only possible
contribution may be, by specific invitation, with Opera "Out of competition”.

The personal data will be used with the confidentiality required by current regulations Law and used exclusively for the contest. The data, on demand, can be erased or rectified.

The Festival, together with the Directors of the Association and the City Administration reserve the right not to give rise to the Festival stage in the public interest or specific needs
arisen. In this case, it will be returned to the expenses of the material received.
