monFILMAT is an international film festival where the landscape has a specific weight in the development of the plot, in fiction, the documentary, the creation of author or children's entertainment.

The XI International Film and Landscape Festival, mónFILMAT, to be held from july 11th to 14th, 2026 in Amposta (Spain), will screen from 10 to 15 full length films and 15 to 30 short films

The main theme of the festival is part of the relationship between filmmaking and landscape either as a protagonist or as a starting point of the plot, in works where the narrative is often affected by what physical or geographic the around, which can be a determining element in the development of the history or a decisive factor that is not serving only to frame the action. The main theme allows many genres, both fiction and documentary, and a maximum lenght of 30 minutes; films must have been completed on or after January 1st, 2025.

The call for entries short films will be open until march 16th, 2026 and can be submit online through Festhome.
