17th Rodinia Short Film Festival 2025

-Rules of the festival:

1-Any audiovisual piece is accepted: fiction, documentary, video-art, animation... as long as the duration of the piece is less than 30 min.

Short films that are not in Spanish will have to be subtitled in Spanish. (Subtitles inserted into the film)

2-The short films can be sent in DVD format or through digital platforms (digital), with a descriptive file of the short film (short film data, address, tel., e-mail...). It can also be sent through the registration through the different digital platform to which the festival is attached:
Festhome.

3-Depending on the shorts received, an attempt will be made to screen all the shorts in the different rooms. The festival will try to make a wide diffusion of the received shorts. In the case of receiving in excess, the organization will make a prior selection.

The projections will begin on or before March. In Rodinia we are projecting throughout the year. Due to the large number of shorts and material that we handle, the shorts that are screened are made public through the festival's social networks, we do not send any email communicating it, we thank you for keeping an eye on our Facebook and Instagram (@cortosrodinia ).

PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON OUR NETWORKS WHERE THE SHORTS THAT WILL BE SCREENED IN THE UPCOMING SESSIONS* ARE PUBLISHED AND THEREFORE SELECTED.

The festival is divided into two parts:

-Projection of selected shorts: in each session the public attending the sessions will vote for the different shorts on a ballot that will be given from 1 to 5.

Once the votes are counted, the 30 best shorts will be selected, which will be the finalists. The final sessions are projected on November.

-Projection of the finalist shorts: the public will select the winners in these last three sessions of the festival.

4- Awards:

1st prize 600 euros + trophy

2nd prize 300 euros + trophy

Spanish prize 200 euros + trophy

INDICATE IF THE SHORT IS FROM CASTILLA Y LEÓN (filmed in Castilla, directed by Castilla y León or the production is from Castilla y León)
and INDICATE IF IT IS FROM VALLADOLID.

5-The organization of the festival reserves the right to make any changes throughout the festival.

During the year, the organization will carry out different sessions with the received shorts with the sole purpose of giving more diffusion to the shorts, never for profit.
