The "Corti di Mare" Festival focuses on the "sea" theme: sea as a source of life, nourishment, philosophy, history, peoples, danger, challenge, adventure, necessity, myth, well-being, border, legend, poetry.

1. THEME OF THE FESTIVAL 2022 “Corti di Mare" Festival central theme is "the sea": sea as a source of life, nourishment, philosophy, history, peoples, danger, challenge, adventure, necessity, myth, wellbeing, border , legend, poetry.


2. WORKS ADMITTED TO THE COMPETITION :


The works that can participate to the competition:

• SECTION FOR SHORT FICTION – short film
(published or unpublished) on the stories and events
inspired to the theme specified in the first point (THEME
2020) of this announcement, with a maximum permitted
duration of 20 minutes.

• SECTION FOR SHORT ANIMATION – short film
(published or unpublished) on the stories and events
inspired to the theme specified in the first point (THEME
2020) of this announcement, with a maximum permitted
duration of 20 minutes.

• SECTION FOR DOCUMENTARY – film
(published or unpublished) on the stories and events
inspired to the theme specified in the first point (THEME
2020) of this announcement, with a maximum permitted
duration of 60 minutes.


3. FORMAT - all the works must be sent through virtual platforms in .mp4, .avi, .flv format. wmv, .mov, divx. For other formats contact the organization by email (cortidimare@gmail.com)


4. SELECTION AND FINAL EVENT - The results of the selection will be unquestionable and communicated to the participants via email and published on the main reference sites of the festival. In the same manner, the date and time of the projections will be communicated.


5. EXCLUSION - The organizational management reserves the right not to admit works in the competition that are not respectful of the seriousness of the festival and the works already presented in the past editions of Corti di Mare.


6. METHOD OF PARTICIPATION AND ENROLLMENT TERMS - all works must be sent no later than AUGUST 31, 2022. The work must enclose:

- A card with the following information: title of the video, section (documentary, fiction, animation), duration, name of the director, production company (where present), address of the director and the production company (where present), a short video presentation (max 500 characters);

- A sheet with a dated and signed statement stating: that you have read and subscribe to the entire rules of the Festival "Corti di Mare 2020", to authorize, in accordance with the law 675/96 and Legislative Decree 196 / 03 on the protection of personal data, the use of personal data for each purpose related to the Festival and the dissemination of data relating to the author of the works, to the press, for promotional purposes only linked to the competition;

- To authorize the screening of the works, the diffusion (tv, on-line) of the same for the promotional purposes of the competition, renouncing in this case the copyrights;

- A self-certified declaration signed by the parents regarding the granting of the rights to broadcast the image of minors that may appear in the video.

The shipping costs of the copies are at the expense of the participant. There is no reimbursement of the trip for the participants who will be present at the screening evening. Copies sent for participation in the Competition will not be returned and will become part of the video archive of the "Corti di Mare" competition hosted by CINETECA MODICANA.


7. LIABILITY - "CINECLUB 262" and "CINETECA MODICANA" disclaim any responsibility regarding loss or damage of the material sent. The organizers also declare any responsibility for any theft or loss of the works at their premises. It is the responsibility of the authors, in case they use for their videos, videos, texts, images and music covered by copyright, obtain the relative releases. The authors take full responsibility for the material shot and edited (audio and video) for the realization of the work and the correspondence to the truth of what was declared


9. CHANGES TO THE NOTICE - The organization of the festival reserves the right to modify the present call for reasons of force majeure or to improve it; any changes will be communicated to the participants promptly.


10. ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS - Participation in the Competition implies full acceptance of this regulation.
