The International Short Film Festival 'CINESTESIA' was born in 2017 as an initiative of professors from the Faculty of Communication Sciences with audiovisual experience in order to provide university students with a space that motivates them and invites them to build stories, to create ideas, to produce an innovative cinema at the forefront.

OBJECTIVE

To give the university public a space that motivates, refreshes and invites you to build stories, to produce a young, creative and innovative cinema with divergent thinking.

Specific objectives

- Promote a space for meeting and exchange of experiences around the audiovisual, for the visualization of the work done in the academy, which aims to create links between new filmmakers, national and international.

- To promote the cinematographic culture in the university students of the country and abroad, through conferences, workshops, samples and conversations.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Registration is free and will take place between January 1, 2020 until August 31, 2021:

2. Registration can be made only through the media or channels of the festival.


3. The producer, producer and / or person responsible for the registration may apply for more than one short film.


4. For the pre-selection process the registered short films required to have subtitles in Spanish (if they are in other languages) For display at the festival.


5. Registration will NOT be received outside the indicated platform.


6. They will only participate in short films that meet the general conditions of the festival.


7. Specify the genre of the Short Film.


8. Upload to this platform Minimum 5 images (Frames / Still photo) of the short film in PNG, JPG resolution.


9. Minimum 1 photo of the director in minimum resolution of 300 DPI, PNG format or JPG


10. The Director's Description must be had.


11. Poster of the short film.


12. Copy of the student card or certificate that guarantees that he is an active student of the university he represents (If he is a recent graduate, a certificate that guarantees that his work was done during the academic period).


13. Text document (Word - NO PDF) with:


- Short synopsis (in Spanish and english).

- Data sheet: (Country, year of production, duration, Color or B / N, original language, names of technical and artistic team).

- Profile of the director of maximum half page (in Spanish and English).

- Name and email of personal and institutional contact.

- UNIVERSITY that represents - student card


14. Additional materials: Making (photos or video), others, if available.


15. Works that they had in previous versions of the festival do not participate.


KINESTHESIA FEST PARTICIPATION REGULATIONS:


- Only products delivered with the festival parameters will be selected.

- Short films from all over the national and international territory, finished in digital, production, made between January 2020 and August 2021, participate.

- Only products created by active students 2020-2021, from different Universities will participate (Your products must have been made at the university).

- Short films with a time between 5 and 15 minutes will participate in their different fiction, documentary and animation formats.

- Complete the stage of registration and application of the work with the necessary data.


MATERIAL SELECTION


- The selection of the shorts or audiovisual material will be made by a commission and curator, appointed by the national and international festival management.

- The organization of Cinestesia reserves the right to exhibit in any media, fragments of the participating works for the purpose of disseminating the festival.

- The festival may withdraw or discard at any time during the festival a short or audiovisual product that does not comply with the festival regulations or has provided false information at the time of registration.

- The act of registration for the festival of university shorts Cinestesia implies full acceptance of these regulations.

- If the short film has been selected, the director of the short will be notified to send a certification from the university that I corroborate that it was made in the indicated period and is an active student or recently graduated.

- The selected short films must have the option of downloading for the official sample of the festival.
