It is a vibrant and exciting celebration of the film industry whose main objective is to provide a platform for emerging filmmakers and encourage interaction between filmmakers and audience.

This annual event brings together industry experts and film professionals, with seventh art enthusiasts and movie lovers from the central zone of San Luis Potosí.

We strongly believe in the importance of giving young filmmakers a voice and visibility, providing an invaluable platform for these emerging talents to showcase their work.

In the official selection, there is a careful curation of the best contemporary Mexican and Latin American films.

SHORT FILMS MAY PARTICIPATE from the following categories:

FICTION SHORT FILM EXPERIMENTAL SHORT FILM ANIMATED SHORT FILM DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM, DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM, FICTION FEATURE FILM.

Each film must have a maximum duration of 20 minutes including credits in cinema format for short films and more than 60 minutes in the case of feature films, video or digital, whose production is after January 1, 2023.

The film in HD format (1920 x 1080), .MOV (Apple prorres), .mp4 (MPEG-4) file. H.264 codec for video. The film must not contain subtitles in another language, unless the film contains subtitles in Spanish because it is spoken in another language.

EXHIBITION.

The Festival Management will agree on the order and date of exhibition of each work.
There is no premiere exclusivity as short films.

The registered works may be selected for out-of-competition samples.

CONDITIONS.

A. Entries must be accompanied by digital viewing copies (screeners).

B. There is no registration limit for the number of films per director or per producing entity.

C. Video clips, commercial works or for purposes of political and/or religious propaganda are not accepted.

D. To be admitted, the materials must be presented in Spanish, if the language of production is different from Spanish, it must be sent with Spanish subtitles.

E.- SELECTION AND JURY.

The jury will be made up of professional women from the film industry, whose names will be announced in due course. His ruling will be final.

F.- deadline

Submissions for the registration of materials remain open from the publication of the call.

H.- In no case will you pay for the exhibition rights of a work.

I.- The selected films are eligible to be part of the festival's traveling shows after the festival and within the channel of the FilminLatino platform.
