Each short film represents time, decisions, a way of seeing, of telling, and of expressing.

In its 15th edition, El Festivalico continues to receive works from all over the world, each one very different from the others.

Not all of them are screened.

The selection is carried out by a team with diverse sensibilities and perspectives.

This process takes us months of viewing, always approached with the utmost respect and rigor for every work received.

Over the years, some of the selected works have continued their journey, later being selected and awarded at the Goya Awards, among other recognitions.

But all of them are part of the same thing:
the need to tell stories and to be seen.

For a few days, a selection of these stories is shared and experienced.

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

Participation

• Any individual or legal entity of any nationality may participate
• Minimum age: 18 years old at the time of submission
• Number of works: unlimited

Works

• Maximum duration: 20 minutes
• Produced after January 1, 2024
• Spanish subtitles are mandatory if the film is not in Spanish

Categories

• Fiction
• Documentary
• Animation (adult)
• Video art

Technical Format

• Files in MP4 format (H.264/H.265) or ProRes
• Resolution: 4K (UHD/DCI)
• Maintaining optimal projection quality is recommended

Submission

• Works must be submitted through the usual platforms where we publish our Festivalico

• Submission via email will also be available at:
elfestivalico@gmail.com. In this case, the following information is required:
