The third Edition of Film Competition "Goya Rural"

Objective: Are you be able to communicate without any word, just using image, sounds or music?

Goya, was born in Fuendetodos village and nowadays is major knowing, because of he had the power to express all he could fell (without fears), using "the image"

For this reason, this Short Film Competition, wants make a tribute to Goya artist as the same time pretends to be a challenge to everybody who can communicate by the silent cinema.

現金賞: 1,500€

• The Official Jury, made up of professionals from the film, culture and communication media, will be in charge of awarding the prizes, being its decision final.

• The winner short film will be awarded with 1300€, the second prize will be 500€ and the third will be 200€

The Festival is opened to filmmakers from all around the world.

- The works can be made in any filming system, as well as any genre: Fiction, Animation, musical or Documentary.

- The maximum duration will not exceed 30 minutes, including credits.

- All the presented short films have to be silent.

- Is it possible to use of music, special effects or elements of sound.

• The silent films selected to participate in the contest may be screened in the festival.

• The organization can use fragments of the selected works (maximum 1 minute) to promote them and the festival.

• Shorts films made in those countries which have prohibited the access to this platform, the organization will be offer them another option to participated.

• The authorization of the authors or the owners of these rights are implicit for the screening of the works selected during the festival by the festival. There is no contractual obligations form the part of the Goya Fuendetodos Foundation with the material or intellectual author of the work, or any other management company.

• The selected short films will participate, if their authors give their express permission for it, in the online version of SSFF on ondemand.festhome.com, which will be open between 4 and 6 months. The benefits obtained will be divided equally between: 1- the festival; 2- Festhome, and 3- the participating filmmakers in the online version of the festival.

• Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these rules.
