The INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY FILM FESTIVAL ÀNEC has three basic objectives. First, an inclusive objective of visualization and awareness through the exposure of the reality of people with disabilities and the different therapies developed in this regard. Second, the dissemination and promotion of films and short films of artistic category that contribute to reflect this reality. And third, invite citizens to participate in the challenge of achieving a more just and inclusive society.

BEST FEATURE FILM, worth €1,500, which will be given to the producers or distributors of the winning film. The statuette will be delivered to its director. Any agreed screening fees will be deducted from the financial prize, if any.

BEST FICTION SHORT FILM, worth €400, for the director of the short who wins it.

BEST ANIMATION SHORT FILM, worth €200, for the director of the short who wins it.

BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM, worth €200, for the director of the short film who wins it.

AWARDS for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Screenplay.

It is absolutely essential that the authors of the winning works or a representative thereof attend the closing ceremony. If not, the financial prize will not be awarded.

Cash prizes will not be awarded until six months after the end of the festival.

Feature Films registered to participate in the different sections must meet the following conditions:

a) Be produced from 2022 onwards. They may be unpublished or have been presented in Spain, in public theaters, DVD, video, television, digital platforms or have been broadcast over the Internet.

b) The supports for the copies must adapt to the technical requirements of each section of the festival.

The support for films and short films in the Official Section will be any type of high definition format. DCP support will not be accepted. Any expenses derived from shipping the screening copies will be borne by the production company or distributor.

In the event that the original version of one is in a language other than Spanish or Catalan, the subtitles must be sent, conveniently synchronized with the sent copy. In the event that the subtitles of a selected work are not sent, it will be disqualified and will not be part of the official section of the festival.

c) Films lasting 50 minutes or more will be considered feature films and short films may not exceed 30 minutes in length. Medium-length films between 31 and 49 minutes will be accepted.

To participate, works must be sent through the Festhome platform. Viewing links sent by email or on physical media will not be accepted.

The Festival Management will establish the order and date of exhibition of each film. Once a film has been registered, it cannot be withdrawn before its screening.

Participation implies full acceptance of these Regulations. Its interpretation will be the responsibility of the Festival Directorate.
