13th edition of the fantastic film festival of Bourg-en-Bresse.

SHort film competitions (french languages, international, middle school) and also screening of features films.

The price is an audience award and a jury award for feench languages films.

An audience award for International competition and middle school competition. The winners will receive a trophy.

ARTICLE 1. Dates and places
The 13th edition of the festival du film fantastique of Bourg-en-Bresse in France will take place in march 26 – 29, 2026.

ARTICLE 2. Admission to the competition
The competition is open to short films in this genre: thriller, fantasy, horror, fantastic, gore, black comedy, sci-fi.

The films exclusively, produced after the 1st december 20234 and screen in numerical format (HD file). The duration of a film should not exceed 22 minutes. They could be with or without dialogues but subtitled in French if foreign language. We can translate the english dialogues in French, and provide you the subtitles after the screening.

ARTICLE 3. Programmation
The Film Festival organize a competition evening will take place on march 28 at the cinema Vox. Also, we got a middle school competition program.

ARTICLE 4. Registrations of films
The registration for the festival is make on the short film platform :

ARTICLE 5. Selection
Rights holders will be informed of the decisions of the selection committee, by email , from february 1st , 2026 .

ARTICLE 6. Screenings
Each director or producer will be held responsible for the provision of an HD version of the film at the festival if selected.

ARTICLE 7. Prices
The price is an audience award and a jury award. The winners will receive a trophy. Also, we got a middle school competition with a trophy.

ARTICLE 8. Communication & Press
In case of selection, the festival reserves the right to present an extract for local media (radio station, web tv, TV, ...) not exceeding 5 % of the total duration of the work.

The festival also reserves the right to use clips from the film for its official trailer.

In addition, photographs of the films may be used for promotional purposes (print media, Internet,...).

ARTICLE 9. Copyright
The request for participation in the 10th edition of the festival du film fantastique de Bourg-en-Bresse (France) implies acceptance of these conditions.

ARTICLE 10. Cancellation
The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel the festival in case of major problem independent of his will.
