INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL DI RIVOLI (4)

Polbert Cinema aims, with the fourth edition of the Rivoli International Film Festival, to continue on the path taken, giving space to emerging directors who are often independent, who carry out their low budget work and who touch, with their creativity, very current themes. like violence against women and discrimination in all its forms. The themes on which the directors can be inspired are of a social nature, as better specified in the attached call for proposals 2020. The theme always present in our kermesse is extremely recurrent and current and with our and your contribution we wish to give a strong message of denunciation.
Alongside this theme, which has always been present in the three previous editions, we have decided this year to add two other themes such as the "comic" and the environmental, in order to broaden the potential audience of directors who can participate in our initiative.

La Polbert Cinema si prefigge, con la quarta edizione dell’International Film Festival di Rivoli, di continuare sulla strada intrapresa dando spazio a registi emergenti spesso indipendenti, che realizzano i propri lavoro low budget e che toccano, con la loro creatività, temi molto attuali come la violenza sulle donne e le discriminazioni in ogni sua forma. I temi a cui si possono ispirare i registi sono di carattere sociale come meglio specificato nel bando 2020 allegato. Il tema sempre presente nella nostra kermesse è quanto mai ricorrente e attuale e desideriamo con il nostro e vostro contributo, dare un forte messaggio di denuncia.
Accanto a questo tema, sempre presente nelle tre precedenti edizioni, abbiamo deciso quest’anno di aggiungere altri due temi quali il “comico”, e ambientale, al fine di ampliare la potenziale platea dei registi che possano partecipare alla nostra iniziativa.

AMONG ALL THE CATEGORIES OF THE CONTEST WILL BE AWARDED THE WORKS OF:
BEST FILM - BEST DIRECTOR - BEST ACTOR \ ACTRESS - BEST SOUNDTRACK
Golden Castle to the first place in the best film category, Silver Castle to the second place in the best film category and Bronze Castle to the third place in the best film category.
The first prize for best direction will be awarded, by our sponsor, a prize of money worth 500 euros in the form of a voucher for cinematographic equipment.
Best actor / actress obelisk god Beccaria award.
Best soundtrack, I press targa.
Prizes must be collected by the participating crew or their representative. Failure to attend will declare the exclusion of the award ceremony. The awarded works will be mentioned on the website and on the facebook page as per point

MIGLIOR FILM – MIGLIOR REGIA -MIGLIOR ATTORE\ATTRICE - MIGLIOR COLONNA SONORA
Castello d’ oro al primo classificato nella categoria miglior film, castello d’argento al secondo classificato nella categoria miglior film e castello di bronzo al terzo classificato nella categoria miglior film.
Al primo classificato per miglior regia verrà riconosciuto, dal nostro sponsor, un premio di denaro del valore di 500 euro in forma di buono acquisto per attrezzature cinematografiche.
Miglior attore/attrice premio obelisco dio Beccaria.
Miglior colonna sonora, premo targa.
I premi dovranno esser ritirati dalla troupe partecipante o da un loro rappresentante. La mancata presenza decreterà l’ esclusione della premiazione i lavori premiati saranno menzionati sul sito e sulla pagina facebook come da punto 6.

How to participate

The selection committee will choose the films to be included in the Festival program by working closely with important film producers and distributors.

The short films, feature films section will be awarded on the basis of the votes received by a jury of experts who will be provided with voting forms which will then be collected in special dedicated ballot boxes.

In order to participate in the "No Language Film Festival" section, all the works must fulfill the following requests (exceptions are made at the discretion of the organizers for special and motivated situations): all the works presented at the Festival must have, if required, English subtitles / Italian and be in HD Cam format.

The organization has the right to refuse works if they are considered unacceptable by virtue of their extremist matrix of a sexual political or religious nature not pertinent to the context.

The works participating in the event must be accompanied by:

director / cast photography (backstage)
press kits including the biography of the director and / or leading actor, samples of advertising material, for example posters (at least 1 copy is recommended).








Come partecipare

Il comitato selezionatore sceglierà i film da includere nel programma del Festival lavorando a stretto contatto con importanti produttori e distributori cinematografici.

La sezione cortometraggi, lungometraggi verrà premiata in base ai voti ricevuti da una giuria di esperti che verrà munito di schede di votazione che saranno in seguito raccolte in apposite urne dedicate.

Per poter partecipare alla sezione “No Language Film Festival” tutte le opere dovranno adempiere alle seguenti richieste (vengono fatte eccezione a discrezione degli organizzatori per situazioni speciali e motivate): tutte le opere presentate al Festival dovranno avere, se previsto, sottotitoli in inglese/italiano ed essere in formato HD Cam.

L’organizzazione ha diritto di rifiutare opere nel caso queste vengano considerate inaccettabili in virtù della loro matrice estremista di carattere sessuale politica o religiosa non pertinente al contesto.

Le opere partecipanti all’ evento dovranno essere corredate di:

fotografia del regista/cast (backstage)
cartelle stampa comprensiva della biografia del regista e/o attore protagonista campioni di materiale pubblicitario, ad esempio poster (consigliabile almeno 1 copia).
