Freedom Festival ()

Freedom festival is a uniquely themed event that investigate and reflect upon the ideas of sexual freedom.

We invite films that deal with subjects that include or are related to eroticism, sexuality, fetish, lifestyle, pornography or sex activism.

Freedom festival is opposed to any form of censorship and encourage edgy art that showcases talent and craft.

We aim to promote erotic cinema as a social transformation tool and to create a cultural platform that facilitates the exchange of ideas that are otherwise censored.

Cash Prizes: 500€

All selected films will be presented with a certificate of participation.

The winner in each category will be presented with the “Freedom” statuette and a cash award.

The awards will be held on the last day of the festival at the place formally provided in the official program.

Films must have content that is in accordance with the festival theme and meet the criteria provided in the description section to be considered for programming.

Films of all lengths are allowed to participate and must be submitted in the corresponding categories.

All entries must obtain the appropriate copyright clearances (i.e. music, images, etc). Failure to do so will result in the entry being disqualified from the competition.

All works will be presented in their original language. If the language is other than English, subtitles in English is mandatory.

We are looking for original, creative and high quality moving image production. Your film will be assessed on narrative structure, cinematography and post-production techniques.


Screening schedule will be announced after the final submission deadline. A short list of nominees will be invited and the award winner will be notified on the day of screenings.
