Vermenara's challenge: Trophy + 100 euros. Award dedicated to the best horror film of the edition that will be voted during the drive-in marathon on the night of the first of November.

The award is inspired by a Campania tradition, according to which the Vermenara was an evil able to install itself in the body of man (especially children) following a strong fear. A debilitating evil that could only be saved thanks to magical rituals put in place by the so-called Incarmatrice, an esoteric figure with powers that were handed down with appropriate rites.

Horror Theme Short Films section of any kind (animation, fiction, documentary, video clips) of a maximum duration of 15 minutes, in Italian or subtitled in Italian, made from 2018 onwards and that we have not participated in previous editions of Corto a a capo.
