INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM.
PEHUAJÓ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (FIC PEHUAJO) is a sample of films, short films and live bands organized by the Agrupación Generacción with the support of the Secretariat of Culture of the City of Pehuajó that will take place from February 17 to 25, 2020, in the city of Pehuajó, Prov. de Bs. As. Over the years we managed to turn this project into an Independent International Film Festival unique in the area that manages to promote audiovisual culture in our city and region; thus creating a space for reflection, production and exhibition of works by independent filmmakers. It is in this context that we launched the 7th Call for the Short Film Contest of the PEHUAJÓ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL that opens on October 14, 2019. Waiting for you to join us, we detail below its bases and conditions

Best Short Film (Cash prize: 10000 ARS (180 USD) - Statuette, diploma)
Best Director (Gift - Statuette, diploma)
Best International Short Film (Gift - Statuette, diploma)
Best Regional Short: “Venancio Bonet Award” (Gift - Statuette, diploma)
Best Performance (Gift - Statuette, diploma)
Special Mention of the Jury (Gift - Statuette, diploma)
Best Short Film Audience Award (Gift - Statuette, diploma)

1) OF THE AUTHORS:
Argentine and foreign filmmakers may participate.
Each author can present several works, but must present them individually.

2) OF THE WORKS:
The works submitted must have been made as of January 2018.
The short film must have a maximum duration of 12 minutes including credits.
The works may have been originally made on any medium, film or digital.

3) OF THE PRESENTATION:
The presentation must include:
ONLINE REGISTRATION IN THE FESTHOME.COM PLATFORM
One registration for each short film
The works that do not present the complete registration form with all the data will be automatically discarded from the competition and the sample.

The mere fact of participating implies knowledge and acceptance of this Regulation and its Basis.

4) OF THE SELECTION:
A Selection Committee of “INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF PEHUAJÓ 2020” will make a pre-selection of the finalist works to be delivered to the Official Jury, which will watch the short films.
The Committee will also select feature films and short films outside the Competition, which will participate in parallel shows.
Winners will be published at the time of the awards ceremony on February 25, 2020.

5) OF THE JURY:
The jury in charge of the two official competitions will be composed of personalities of culture and cinematography.
The decisions taken by the jury, both in the preview, selection and award of the works is final.
Prizes may become vacant.

6) RIGHTS:
The Generation Association may use fragments of the finalist works for the dissemination of future contests or activities, in the media without the right to receive any amount derived from this use by the author.
Beyond this, the rights to the work will remain the property of the author.

7) OF THE DELIVERY OF THE PRIZES:
Only the winning short film in the BEST SHORT FILM category will receive a prize of TEN THOUSAND PESOS Argentinos ($ 10,000).
For the rest of the categories, the Generation Association will only award honorary prizes.
All winning short films will receive a diploma and a statuette.
The awards, diplomas and mentions will be presented at the Closing Act of “INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF PEHUAJÓ 2020” to be held on February 25, 2020.

8) OTHER:
Any issue not contemplated in these regulations will be resolved by the organizers, the participant expressly waiving legal or extrajudicial claims that may arise from such resolutions.
Participation in this call implies full acceptance of these rules and other conditions that are set in relation to them and / or are integrated into them.
