The International Afro Film Festival in Bogotá is projected to be the best festival in the country and in the region, especially dedicated to increase the visibility of Afro filmmakers and their film creations, recognizing the best pieces.

INTERNATIONAL AFRO FILM FESTIVAL BOGOTÁ 2019

1. THE AFRO BOGOTÁ INTERNATIONAL FILM SAMPLE 2019 is an Afro film festival, therefore, any production or project that is not considered “Afro” will be discarded.

2. The short film or feature film, depending on the category in which you are participating, must include Spanish subtitles if it is not Spanish-speaking.

3. All Afro productions will be accepted and may participate according to their category: Professional category will be all projects and / or productions that have been developed directly in a producer or made by a natural person.

4. The productions will be sent for viewing by digital means (link).

5. The productions that are selected to be screened at the AFRO BOGOTÁ 2019 INTERNATIONAL FILM SAMPLE should send a link for download in high quality format and without watermarks.

6. In the event that the producers of the projects do not want to provide the download link, they can send them in physical format (DVD or BLU-RAY), the cost of which the producer assumes.

7. If the production or project cannot be delivered on the dates indicated and suitable for the projections within the dates of each edition of the festival, they will be discarded and therefore will not be accredited as part of the Official Selection.

8. AFRO BOGOTÁ INTERNATIONAL FILM SAMPLE 2019. will designate a group of experts who will serve as a jury for the final decision of the winners of each edition of the festival.

9. THE AFRO BOGOTÁ 2019 INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL may use parts of the trailer or teaser, or directly from the production or project, for the promotion of said festival.

10. When sending a production or project to participate, this regulation is accepted in each of its points.
