The u22 Festival is the young film festival of Barcelona, the meeting and networking point for young filmmakers from all over the world. From 25th to 29th September 2024 at the Joan Miró Foundation of Barcelona, and online in Filmin.

Cash Prizes: 1,000€

- 1.000€ prize for the best young short film of the year.

- 500€ of rental for material for the winning film and a 25% discount for all those selected.

- All the films hace the oprion to be temporarily available online on Filmin.

- Projection fee for all the selected projects.

- Annual and monthly Filmin licenses.

- Fujifilm X-H2S cámera + XF18 55mm.

- LED Nanlite Forza 150.


Prizes subject to change during the months leading up to the festival.

- In short films, the lead author/s must be 22 years of age or younger at the time of filming. In feature films, the lead author/s must be 33 years of age or younger at the time of filming.

- The film must have been produced after January 2022 (short films) / January 2021 (feature films)

- Any topic and genre is allowed.
