WELCOME To The Thane International Short Film Festival

Thane International Short Film Festival is a brand new, up and coming annual film festival held in the heart of Mumbai. TISFF is more than just a Film Festival; it is a strong connection among all filmmakers around the world.

Thane Short Film Festivals are organized by SR Productions, an international production company that runs film festivals. A collective of filmmakers, producers and marketing professionals with a common goal: to forge productive and lasting relationships between independent filmmakers and audiences. Our core values are Independence, Ambition, Inspiration, Creativity, Integrity, Community.

The objective of TISFF is to provide support to independent filmmakers globally through reviewing, judging, marketing, and distribution networking. TISFF accepts all genres of films across the globe. The selected high-quality films will have a chance to win awards such as trophies, certificates,
and cash prizes starting from $250 as well as have their films on the big screen at our live screening.

Our Rules for Filmmakers:

Your submission impiles that you have the lawful right to speak to and present this film for thought, alongside your acknowledgment of TISFF guidelines.


1)Short films are 45 mins and under. Documentary films are 30 mins and under.


2) All films are required to have English subtitles except Hindi & Marathi.


3) Student Films will require proof of student ID to qualify for the discounted rate. Any non - student films submitted into the category will be disqualified!


4) One entry fee per category. The same film can be entered into one or more categories, but each category requires an entry fee.


5) Films selected for screening will be notified on or around May 15, 2020.


6) Entries must be submitted via Festhome and include a working screener accessible via Festhome in order to be considered.


7) Entry Fee paid via Festhome.


8) A working screener that is accessible via your film’s profile on Festhome. We welcome works in progress, however trailers, reels, or anything other than a screener for the film will not be considered. Likewise, if your submission screener is missing or inaccessible due to a missing or inaccurate password, we cannot guarantee that your film will be considered.


9) All fees are non-refundable.


10) By submitting, the filmmaker expressly acknowledges and agrees that they shall be bound by the terms of this agreement.





  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
