CORTOS EN CORTO emerged 10 years ago as an initiative to promote regional, national and international film work, seeking to be a meeting point where to share face-to-face and virtual projections, as well as conferences and master classes with the creative community.

The short films selected to participate in the CORTOS EN CORTO 2026 Festival will obtain Laurel and Diploma of recognition for their participation.

1) Theme: projects or ideas of individual creation based on the essential values of humanity.


2) Technical requirements:

a. Recording and editing: the video can be recorded with any type of device and edited to get professional quality in MPG, MPEG, MP4, AVI or MOV format

b. Duration: minimum duration of 1 minute and maximum of 30 minutes

c. Copyright: only images and music created by the exhibitor will be accepted, unless the exhibitor has obtained express permission for its use, in which case such permission must be presented together with the video.

d. Language: Spanish spoken o subtitled

e. Use of logos: During the video there may be no mention of brand unless the exhibitor has obtained express permission for its use.
