Cornerstone Short Film Competition ()

Cornerstone Digital is a full-service production studio that nurtures talent in the independent film community. The Cornerstone Short Film Competition brings a unique opportunity for short films and web series makers to win cash prizes. The aim is to provide recognition and also a platform for film-makers to showcase their talent and share their work with an audience eager to see creative and unique content. The winner will be decided by a panel of expert judges and will be awarded the prize money.

Participation is absolutely free of charge! All you have to do is submit your short-films or web series following the rules and regulations.

Two winners will be awarded cash prizes worth One Million PKR. A jury of industry professionals will announce the winner and the runner up. The winner will take away cash prize of 600,000 PKR, and the runner up would win 400,000 PKR

Please read all the rules and requirements before submitting your project.

1. To submit a film or web series, you must have created the project yourself, own the rights as an individual or as a team for the submitted content.

2. All work to be submitted only and solely on Festhome.

3. We do not accept any films or web series made before 2015.

4. All films or web series must be in either english, Urdu, Hindi or must have english subtitles.

5. All films or web series must be submitted with the following information
a. Title
b. Production Year
c. Synopsis maximum of 350 characters including spaces
d. Genre
e. language
f. Actors
g. Director
h. Writer
i. Country of origin

6. All Films or web series shall be submitted with a Title Poster (digital - Good Quality)

7. A functional email for correspondence must be provided

8. Films do not have to be screened publicly to be eligible for our Competition, prizes, or awards.

9. All films or web series are nominated and voted upon by a jury of film professionals, from an independent point of view and also screened for views on VOD platform for a view based public vote.

10. All genres and formats are considered eligible for nomination.

11. Cornerstone reserve the right to refuse or accept any submission, you can contact us by email on "contentops@cornerstone.net.pk"

12. You grant us the right to publish your trailer, film poster on our website and Facebook page

13. By sending your film or web series you confirm that there are no copyright infringements on your behalf, and we take no responsibility in this matter.

14. Complete documentation for each submitted film or web series is to be made available to the Competition if required.

15. "Short Films" are classified as a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 20 in length, excluding credits.

16. "Web series" is classified as a series with 4 to 7 episodes with a duration of 7 to 20 minutes each.

17. Once a film or web series has been selected, it cannot be withdrawn from the competition.

18. By submitting you agree to our terms and conditions and give us permission to use your email address for marketing purposes. Your information will never be shared with 3rd party.

19. By submitting you give us the right to publish your work for the purpose of the competition, onto our VOD platform.
