Cineminha B film festival bids you welcome to our yearly festival in the heart of Salvador, Brazil. Our famous city is known for the warm weather, and delicious typical food. We look forward to seeing your film at our warm, friendly and diverse film festival.

As an international film festival, we accept submissions of all countrys. The selecteds films will be shown during a week's worth of events held in the movie theaters, city's libraries, public school, private schools for interested people, in open sessions, all free.

The intention is to bring together a selection of films from countries around the world and screen them during a week's in the city's libraries.
This edition of the film festival Cineminha na B will be held from March. Press is invited to our event. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us or follow us on Facebook and our website.

We look forward to view your film! We are open for submissions for our event.

We reward feature films, shorts, documentaries and animations. We are especially interested in films that focus on children. And we have special awards for these films.

We reward narrative feature films, shorts, documentaries and animations. We are especially interested in films that focus on children or teenager. And we have special awards for these films.

2 - Best Short of the Festival
3 - Best Animated Film (short or narrative feature)
4 - Best Documentary (short or narrative feature)
5 - Best Children's Film
6 - Best Children's Short Film

The selection of films is open to productions that meet the following conditions:

1. Submission
Films must be submitted via ONLINE screener ONLY. We do not accept films sent over by DVD. The visual definition of the project is HD, FullHD, 2k or 4k .

2. Categories
We have special categories for content suitable for children and young people from 0 to 17 years old; and films that focus on children and young adolescents. But all films are accepted.

3. Submission Eligibility
There is no premiere policy for films, they may have screened at other Festivals and/or online.

4.Subtitles
Os filmes que não estão em língua portuguesa, MUST contain English, Spanish or Portuguese subtitles files. Subtitles can be sent separately or made available for download.

5. Submission Fee
All submissions for festival are to be paid through Festhome platform. The submission fee is non-refundable.

6. Selection of Films
The films must not have participated in previous editions of the festival. Submissions are reviewed and selected under the criteria of Quality of narrative and production values.

7. Notification
The festival inform all submitting parties, if their film has been successful or not. Successful submissions will receive important information on the Festival, press and publicity, guest accreditation, contact information and how to make the most of participating in the Festival.

1. Festival Screenings - for selected films ONLY
Selected films MUST provide a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) in order to be screened at the Festival. The film title MUST be clearly labelled on the DCP.

2. Scheduling - for selected films ONLY
Screenings are scheduled at the discretion of festival. Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, the festival reserves the right to make changes at any time for any reason. The festival will not be liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in scheduling. No film may be withdrawn from the festival programme after its selection.

3. Promotion - for selected films ONLY
Selected films must acknowledge that the festival reserves the right to promote the films on website and social media using both images and video that you provide.

4.Copyright
Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials. By submitting to us, you give us the right to screen your film in front of a live audience in Brazil, during festival. We may promote clips from your film on social media, based on the press kits you provide us with.
