2.4.1 GENERATION PLUS 7: Cinema Curation for children aged 4-7
2.4.2 GENERATION PLUS 10: Cinema Curation for children aged 8 - 11
2.4.3 GENERATION PLUS 13: Cinema Curation for children age 12 - 15

Premi in contanti: 40,000€

1. Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival Awards Best international and domestic films with 6 prizes in the Feature film competition, 4 prizes in the Best Shorts Competition and 2 prizes in Short Films made by young directors. The awards will be given at the closing ceremony.


2. The following is a list of awards and the titles of the award could change.


3. KIDS VISION: International Competition: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor


4. KIDS FOCUS: Korean Competition: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor


5. KIDS CREATIVE: Shorts Competition: Best Film, Best Director, Young Director, Best Actor


6. KIDS CHALLENGE: Shorts Competition by Young Filmmakers: Best Film, Outstanding Awards


7. Total prize money will worth about KRW 47 million won. And the cash award will be paid to the director him/herself for Best Director & KIDS CHALLENGE, producer him/herself or the production company for Best film, and actor him/herself for Best Actor of the film.


8. Award for KIDS CHALLENGE will be paid to one designated director of the film.


9. The cash award includes tax and bank charges.


10. Personal information requested by GUKIFF for award payment will not be used for any purpose other than the payment itself.


11. If the entrant is from a financially sanctioned country, payment of the cash award could be restricted.

1.Competition (International and Korean)
1.1 Films made by directors born before year 2006
1.2 Films completed after January 1st, 2020.

2.KIDS CHALLENGE: Shorts Competition by Young Filmmakers
2.1 Films made by directors born after year 2007.
2.2 Films completed after January 1st, 2021.

3. GUKIFF accepts films that deal with 'children' themes regardless of genre. But there should be no problem screening films for young & family audiences.

4. Films that deal with issues of children

5. Films have never been submitted to GUKIFF before.

6. 'Feature' (equal to or longer than 40 min) / 'Short' (less than 40 min)

7. No limitation on genre or length of the film

8. No entry fee.
