Popularization of the cryptocurrency’s philosophy, ideas and technologies via such a universal artistic form of communication as film-making is the main goal of Crypto Film Festival. By bringing the best films of the Cryptocurrency Theme from all over the world to the international audience, the CFFest Team hopes to contribute to a better understanding of the cryptocurrency, its role and place in our daily life, present and future.

1. ORGANIZATION, GOALS, DATES

The Crypto Film Festival (CFFest) is organized by the Team of film professionals and crypto enthusiasts on voluntary basis.

The main goal of the CFFest is to popularize the cryptocurrency philosophy, ideas and technologies via filmmaking. By bringing the best films of the cryptocurrency theme from all over the world to the international audience, the CFFest Team hopes to contribute to a better understanding of the cryptocurrency, its role and place in our daily life, present and future.

The Crypto Film Festival will take place on the 15-21st of June 2022 in Minsk/Belarus (the venue to be confirmed).

2. SECTIONS

The Festival’s program is divided into the following sections:

Feature Films (under 45 min);
Documentary Films (under 45 min);
Animated Films (under 30 min);
Experimental Films (under 15 min).

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1. The following criteria are compulsory for the films to be included in the Crypto Film Festival Program:

- had a strong Cryptocurrency Theme;
- had been completed after January 1, 2009;*
- had not been previously submitted to the CFFest.

3.2. Acceptable preview formats:

Digital file (sent via dropbox, wetransfer etc.);
Online screener (vimeo, youtube etc).

3.3. Acceptable screening formats:

Digital File;
DVD/BR.

4. SELECTION

4.1. The Festival Team selects and invites films to participate in the Festival.

4.2. Films can be accepted for selection only if:

- meet the requirements stated in the paragraph 3;
submitted before the deadline;*
- accompanied by the Entry Form (only submission via CFFest web site);
- had English subtitles (if the language of dialogues is not English, Russian or Belarusian).

5. DEADLINE, DATES

The 1st of December 2021 – deadline for submissions of the films;
The 1st of May 2022 – selection results announced to the entrants;
The 15-21st of June 2022 – Dates of the Festival.

6. LANGUAGE VERSIONS AND SUBTITLES

6.1. All films will be screened in their original languages with Russian subtitles, except for films with dialogues in Russian or Belarusian.

7. SCREENINGS

7.1. Each film will be screened one time.

8. JURIES

8.1. The Juries are appointed by the Festival Team. The decisions of the Juries are taken by open voting with simple majority. Persons who have any connection with films presented in the competition cannot be on the Jury.

9. AWARDS

There are following awards:

Grand Prix;
Best Feature Film;
Best Documentary Film;
Best Animated Film;
Best Experimental Film;
The Audience Award.

10. OTHER ISSUES

10.1. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of the Festival regulations.

10.2. Once the invitation has been accepted, the invited film cannot be withdrawn from the Festival program.

10.3. Cases not covered by these Regulations will be considered in compliance with the International Regulations.
