The 3rd International Comedy Film Festival will present to the public contemporary worldwide film production dedicated to the comedy genre in its various variants, enabling the circulation of films that do not find space in the traditional commercial distribution and exhibition medium.

The selected films will compete in two different categories:

1 - "Best International Short Film" - to be chosen by popular vote. This category is specifically for international short films;

2 - "Best Brazilian Short Film" - to be chosen by popular jury. This category is specifically for films produced in Brazil.

The winners will receive Award Certificates. There will be no cash prizes.

1) Short films of up to 15 minutes, produced from 2024 onwards, which fall into all variants of the comedy genre, regardless of theme, can be entered for the Festival's selection stage.

2) Each participant will be able to register as many works as they wish.

3) The official language of the Festival is Brazilian Portuguese, when filmmakers submitting films produced in any other languages, a text file (.srt) in English or Spanish may be requested, using the "time-code", containing the texts, narrations or dialogues.

4) The list of selected films will be announced by 30 September 2026 via social media and email communications.

5) The registered directors grant BENGUELA Produções e Eventos Culturais Ltda the right - free of charge - to display and disseminate images of the films (photos and fragments with a maximum of 30 seconds), at any time and without limit of times without any remuneration to participants.

6) It is the participant's responsibility to use images and music from third parties in his films, in addition to any conflict arising from copyright infringement.

7) The registration of the work indicates the full acceptance of this regulation by its responsible.
