Festival start: 26 May 2022      Festival end: 26 May 2022

The Porsche Awards was launched in 2004 by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg together with Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Until 2015, the event was annually held at the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. From 2016 to 2019 it was hosted and organised in cooperation with the British National Film and Television School (NFTS). In order to emphasise the award's international standard more strongly, the award ceremony was held in London 2016 and 2019. This year the Porsche Awards will go back to its roots and welcome the international participants in Ludwigsburg again.

As the only international advertising award that is dedicated to encouraging young talents and that pursues no commercial interests, the Porsche Awards has a unique profile. It has created a representative platform designed for popularising young people in advertisings outstanding work in the industry and that provides them with the opportunity to move one step closer to a professional career.

Driven by Dreams

Students from film schools, schools of art and design, apprentices, graduates and other budding directors in the field of film, television, advertising film and advertising in general throughout the world under the age of 35 (at the start of the competition on 30 July 2020, students are excluded from the age limit) are eligible.

We expect our participants, be they students or other young talents, to submit projects they have created as independently as possible, with next to no professional assistance. In any case, it is vital to the fairness of the competition that no copyrights are infringed in any way and that the legal situation is settled and transparent. For further information please see Point 2: “Rules of the Competition”.

By submitting the entry form, graduates, other budding directors and young talents confirm that they are not older than 35.
