FCTS: 21 Years Celebrating the Seventh Art, in the Heart of Todos Santos
The Todos Santos Film Festival (FCTS) is the undisputed epicenter of South Californian, Mexican, and Latin American cinema in Baja California Sur.
More than a festival, we are a cultural movement that has captivated audiences and film professionals alike.
Our selection of feature films, documentaries, and short films, many of them exclusive premieres and award-winning films at international festivals, is rigorously curated to offer you the best of contemporary cinema.
We have been honored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (Golden Globes) for our programming excellence and commitment to the community.
Iconic figures such as Diego Luna, Dolores Heredia, and Tenoch Huerta have shared their talent and passion at our festival, enriching the cinematic dialogue.
Through our Leonardo Perel Film School and various community activities, we foster education, creativity, and a love of film among all ages.
The FCTS is more than a festival; it's a transformative experience.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of cinema, discover new voices, and become part of a vibrant community that celebrates diversity and creativity.

Awards and Recognition
The Todos Santos Film Festival is proud to celebrate cinematic excellence with a series of unique and meaningful awards.
Each winner of our Official Competition will receive the iconic Todos Santos Cactus sculpture, a work of art created by a renowned local artist, as well as a diploma certifying their triumph in one of our official categories.
In addition, this year we are pleased to announce special awards for our talented filmmakers:
Made in BCS Documentary and Fiction: Winners in these categories will receive, in addition to the sculpture and diploma, a complete accommodation package so they can join us in Todos Santos and enjoy the full festival experience.
FCTS 21st Edition: Official Competition
The Todos Santos Film Festival (FCTS), in its 21st edition, invites Mexican filmmakers or those residing in Mexico to submit their films to our Official Competition, which will take place from November 27 to 30, 2025, in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Made in Baja California Sur:
National or international productions made in Baja California Sur, whether fiction or documentary, with a duration between 5 to 15 minutes, free technique, and themes that DO NOT involve the promotion of violence or discrimination, may participate. At the same time, they should emphasize the promotion of family values, inclusion, cultural outreach, and environmental preservation, with the final cutoff date being from 2023 to 2025.
Works that have premiered or participated in other festivals will be accepted, as long as they have not competed or participated out of competition in our 20th edition or previous editions.
General Rules
Productions must be final cuts from 2023 to 2025.
Members of the organizing committee, sponsors, collaborators, public officials, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Films that competed or participated out of competition in our 20th or previous editions are not eligible to participate.
Films must be submitted with english subtitles, except for those in a language other than Spanish, which must have Spanish and english subtitles.
Selected productions may participate in simultaneous dissemination and outreach activities, competitive or non-competitive, as determined by the Organizing Committee, through the 21st edition.
Once accepted, participation may not be withdrawn under any circumstances.
After selection, a letter of authorization and acceptance of the festival rules must be signed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Productions will be selected by an expert jury, whose decision is final. The jury may award special mentions.
The selection will be published on November 15, 2025, in the festival's official media.
